Have you ever seen an Allamanda bloom? Well, let me be the first to tell you that none blooms more beautiful than the Allamanda at Samaan Grove. Nestled in a gated community off Golden Grove Road, Tobago, this is the best location for the perfect Tobago get away. If you are ever in Tobago, look no further. This home away from home is worth every red cent to stay there - trust me, when we got there we did not want to do anything but stay in and enjoy the house. My friends and I made this trip to Trinidad and Tobago as a treat to ourselves. After looking at many other places on the web, I came across the Allamanda and decided that we would be staying here - because it felt like we would be going home. In this spacious, well maintained paradise of a home kept by Wendy and her husband we felt as if we struck gold - Yeah, this is it I shouted!!! Our host, Wendy provided service beyond what was ever expected by any of us. Her grace, hospitality and attention to our needs made this trip an “over the top” experience of a life time. Wendy will occasionally check in on us and offer some exceptional recommendations for things to to in Tobago. She certainly made it easy for us to want to explore the island and she also made it easy for us to reach her in the event of an emergency. Every morning we woke up in this gorgeous home, we pinched each other to check if we were dreaming. Things got even more unreal when we found that there was a bonus - No Man’s Land ;) - you’ll have to see it to believe it! My friends did not want to leave, in fact they actually extended their stay because it was extremely difficult to separate from this house and beautiful Tobago. If we had the funds we would still be in the house - right now, as you are reading this review, it’s that unbelievably beautiful. I will definitely return and I have already told a few friends who will be pleased with this house as a vacation spot. Even now, as we are back in Savannah, GA we still talk about the Allamanda and Wendy. Thank you very much Wendy, 5 star are just not enough and 500 words will never capture how palpable our stay was for all of us. (March 2013, original review posted on AirBnB)
