LUXURIOUS APARTMENT - SUNNY PATIO - NOTRE DAME - LATIN QUARTER

Once again, I'm terribly sad to write this, as it means I'm no longer in Paris. Johan's apartment was beyond its already fantastic description and the check in and check out was super smooth. The location could not be beat and afforded us the chance to get everywhere in Paris. The metro was close, the batobus was close, everything was close. Once again, I think I've found another gem that will be booked up and not available the next time I go, as it really is a fantastic deal. Oh yeah, 4 of us stayed there and it was fine, the hot water lasted forever, the washer/dryer saved our lives and the wine cave downstairs will be your Parisian best friend (plenty of fairly priced libations and fantastic food).

Our visit was a trip for our son's 13th birthday and we decided to try something different and rent an apartment. This property had everything we were looking for. It is in a beautiful residential community with great access to both the Metro and the RER, great patisserie shops, wine shop, and all sorts of tasty restaurants within walking distance. There was a grocery store nearby where we were able to get everything we wanted to prepare breakfast in the well appointed kitchen and eat in each morning. And despite there being few tourists in the area (something we really liked) all of the shopkeepers and restaurant staffs were very patient with our poor French and very helpful in figuring out what we wanted.The apartment was on the 1st floor and had access by stairs . The living space was large and comfortable. Everything we needed was considered - high-speed internet, cable tv (although remember that the majorty of stations are not in English - but you aren't in France to watch TV). The bedrooms were also big and comfortable. The bedding was very nice and the beds were so comfortable we wanted to take them home. The patio were lovely and great for enjoying a nice day. The kitchen had a refrig/freezer and having a washer and dryer allowed us to pack less.The neighborhood was quiet and very safe and the apartment building had extensive security - both to get into the building as well as into the apartment, so anyone not comfortable traveling should feel very secure in this apartment. All-in-all, this experience has convinced us to never again stay in a boring hotel. We'll go for the local charm of an apartment and would highly recommend this one.

This is an excellent apartment right in the center of Paris which is extremely well equipped and comfortable with many antique features. The location is excellent - right in the heart of the city yet the apartment itself is so quiet. Our host Johan was very accommodating and we would highly recommend this property to anyone travelling to Paris.!
