We chose Lake Granbury, since it is just 40 minutes from Fort Worth and Arlington - which makes for a very easy getaway.
The lakehouse is casual and comfortable and our property on the cove is fantastic for boating, exploring, swimming and endless fun in the lake. We have had 4 extended family reunions and numerous parties. The yard is sprawling and great for soccer games, volleyball, badminton and bocci ball.
Paddle boat, kayak and canoe, great for exploring the cove. Stairs into shallow swimming area on one side of the dock, which is great for small children and a deep area off the far side of the dock for diving, boat ramp in subdivision
