A Wonderful Home Waiting For You To Relax And Enjoy The Area.

This home has everything you will need for comfort, amenities and then some. This home exceeds people's expectations every time.

The master bedroom with the large bath is off the main living area. The other two bedrooms are on the other side past the living area, great room with large kitchen, and intimate seating for card playing, watching a movie, reading comfortably in front of the fireplace, or using computers with WiFi connection.

This house has the best equipped kitchen. The family room off the kitchen features a theater system to enjoy. The large screened in porch with gas grill off the kitchen and the rocking chair wrap-around porch makes for many enjoyable evenings of dining and relaxing.

The lower level has a pool table that every pool shark would envy. Even with a pool table, the room is spacious and has a treadmill and other workout systems.

The beauty of the mountains is breathtaking providing serenity and peacefulness yet close to outdoor activities to suit every age and ability. The lower level apartment seen on video is secured for the owner when in town. The pool table, treadmill, weights and wine refrigerator are welcoming on the first level.

Not only is this home an ideal candidate as your vacation retreat, several other features and services make this house unique. As part of our Gourmet to You service, we can have the kitchen already stocked with fresh produce and groceries to your specifications. In addition to this service, you can choose already-prepared meals stored fresh in the fridge. Navitat, the best zipline in the South, is located 10 minutes from the house. Discounts for renters of this house. Great experience to 'zip' over the tops of trees! A bit scary at first but certainly exhilarating. A 'must see' in the area the locals say.. Or hike the gentle 1 mile trail to Douglas Falls. Local crafts, shopping, and dining in nearby Burnsville and Weaverville.

We stayed in this beautiful mountain home twice, once as a home base for a week on the Appalachian Trail and then couldn't wait to get back again to relax and enjoy the home and area. The amazing Navitat Canopy Zipline was a highlight and is just a short drive, the Biltmore in Asheville is magnificent any season of the year, and Chimney Rock is a wonderful place to hike and spend the day with family. This home has great family space with room to spread out--two floors of porches with views to die for, mountain stream on the property (we panned for gold when kids visited!), game room with pool table. Cool August mornings with hot coffee on the porch, falling asleep gazing into the star-lined treetops, grilling out and dining on the back porch where you can reach out and touch the mountainside... this home is comfortable, functional with modern convenience, yet has cabin warmth and charm. We would recommend it for one or two people or a larger family. It is an experience, not just a place to stay.

Warm and welcoming! This wonderful home has everything. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need..including a gas log fireplace with remote control. There are lots of hiking possibilities. We did the 1 mile hike to Douglas Falls--it was not difficult and a beautiful scene. We actually just enjoyed being in the house. The directions were easy to follow and the location very scenic. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting this area.
