Nice Home and Space - service lacking

When we arrived the property manager was trying to get the hot tub running. It was usable 3 days later. I drive an all wheel drive Mercedes SUV. The driveway had over 3" of ice and we slid sideways down it. I paid the manager to pick up 200lbs of salt and put it on the driveway. The owner never offered to reimburse.
The space is great, and has a nice wood burning stove. Newer electronics and sound system are also very nice. The fact that there isn't a sauna and the hot tub was not usable, was a real negative. Also, it was pretty dangerous to get to the hot tub (when it was fixed) due to the 3-4" of ice. Spent 1/2 a day removing that ice.
Not heat in the laundry room, downstairs bath and the master bath made for some very chilly showers.
This is not a Ski In / Ski Out home. It's close to Ski Bowl, but you must cross Rt 26 tp get there.
With some improved service and TLC this could be a great rental... today it is not.
Owner's Response: I am sorry that your experience at Great Blue Lodge was not everything that you had expected.
As you stated, the space is great with a nice wood burning stove and you noted a few of the other amenities such as the new sound system and electronics. Due to contractor scheduling and holiday delays, the sauna was not completed before your arrival. In your welcome letter dated 12/19/2012 we notified you of this delay. I am happy to say that the sauna is now complete and operational.
Snow and ice are an integral part of the mountain experience. The necessity for traction devices (e.g. snow tires or chains), with or without four-wheel drive, is posted and required everywhere in the area; however your concerns have encouraged us to remind guests of these facts before their arrival. Your feedback is very important to us as we strive to constantly improve the quality of our offerings at Great Blue Lodge.
We do want to tell you that we had to spend quite a bit of time cleaning the black ink or paint from the wood table and the carpet in the upstairs bedroom that was caused by somebody in your group.
