This apartment is one of our favourites, located in a very safe area across the river from the Louvre, you are here right in the “cultural” centre of Paris. Surrounded by art galleries, famous publishers and bookshops, you will also find locally exquisite restaurants and renowned places such as the Café Flore or the Brasserie Lipp. The area was and remains the cultural heart of the French writers and philosophers (Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre). All commodities and transports (taxis, Velib, buses, metro) are local. Once you have done shopping in all the world famous Designer shops found locally, visited the various art galleries, don’t hesitate and go and visit the ENSBA (National Art School) found in a beautiful building which is at the end of your street, hiding exquisite gardens and interior patios. One should also remember that one of the most famous English writers and poets, Oscar Wilde, lived his final years in this same street.
