Dream Townhouse

  • 5 of 5
Having flown from Australia, been awake for 25 hours, driven from Denver on the "wrong side" of the road in more snow than we had ever imagined possible, we arrived to this absolutely gorgeous home and felt like we had slipped into the pages of a fairy tale! It was perfect in every way from being spotlessly clean, to the beautiful decor (just like the photos), the elegant bathrooms, wonderfully appointed kitchen and fantastic location. As for the hot tub ……!!! After a day on the slopes what better way to wind down than sitting in the hot tub with the snow coming down. We were travelling with our two children and their partners and it was such a great size for us all. We also loved all the knick knacks such as the paintings, family shots, old snow gear - everything that made it feel "homey". If we could stay anywhere in Breckenridge again it would be here. If there was just one thing we would change that would have to be the duration of our stay! Next time it will have to be for MUCH longer. Thank you so much for having us.

Owner's Response: "Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to us that your family truly enjoyed your vacation and our ski chalet.
By the way, my wife and I visited Australia recently and we enjoyed everything about it, especially the people.
They were kind, courteous, helpful and fun! Apparently a lot like you all are!"

The BEST ski condo we ever stayed at!

  • 5 of 5
We just returned home from our Breck ski trip. When we 1st entered the condo, we knew we found a gem. It was very clean and spacious. Nicely decorated...well cared for property. We took our 5 children skiing, and we had plenty of room for all. Boys took the bottom floor...girls middle...and mom and dad had top. Kitchen was fully equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Did I mention how clean it was? Bathrooms were immaculate (and very spacious). We are pretty picky when it comes to over night facilities...this one exceeded our expectations. Short walk to catch the free bus to gondola...and ski in at the end of day. This is our 3rd visit to Breck, and probably our best. Private hot tub was a plus at the end of a long day skiing. Had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Owner's Response: We love our town-home and try very hard to keep it in pristine condition. We spend a lot of time there with our family and want it to be first class for our guests and ourselves. Thank you for your warm review. It makes my wife and I very happy and proud. Also, thank you for the care you gave our place. See you next ski season? Hope so!

Skiiers Paradise

  • 5 of 5
This is an ideal vacation spot!! The house is comfortable and well designed with all of the amenities. A short walk (downhill for 10 minutes) to the Gondola or a 2 minute walk to the bus stop. The bottom of 4 O'clock run is about a 3 minute walk from the front door, so it is truly a "ski in" location. Town is also easily accessible by walking which is particularly valuable given the paucity of parking in Breckenridge.
The property was clean and well maintained and the rental agent was courteous and helpful. The listing is accurate as to the features and amenities of the property.
Not only would I recommend this to friends and family, I will try to stay at this property on all future trips to Breck!!

Wonderful Stay!

  • 4 of 5
My husband and two kids stayed in this townhouse for a week in March 2013 - we had a great stay. The location was super easy to access the bus to ride up to Peak 8 (3 minute walk), or a quick walk to the Snowflake lift. And just a quick ride (or walk but we were too wiped out at the end of the day when we'd go) to the restaurants and shops - which we appreciated since almost every day we needed to buy some new ski accessory! We really appreciated the well appointed kitchen since we ate dinner at home most nights - and when my sister in law and their two kids stopped by to stay for a few nights, there was plenty of space to accommodate them. Bathrooms were nice and modern - hot tub just outside the back screen door very enjoyable. Overall the townhouse was clean and everything in good condition. Would certainly recommend to future visitors!

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay last year, even more glad you're coming back this season! :-)

Since the town of Breckenridge pre-dates the ski area by 102 years, the place blissfully lacks a master-planned feel and has authentic, historic, small-town charm. You may feel away from it all tucked in the White River National Forest in Breckenridge, but you are really in the epicenter of Colorado's best!

You are within 30 minutes from 5 other major ski areas: Vail, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain and Loveland!! Plus, the huge shopping center Outlets at Silverthorne are a mere 20 minute, stunningly scenic jaunt!

In and around Breckenridge, a pervasive network of historic mining trails offer fabulous chances to explore the valley on a mountain bike, a dog sled, snowmobile, cross-country skis, snowshoes or even feet! Other surprisingly year-round activities include fishing, museum and historical sites tours, hot air balloon rides and mine tours. You can get private, guided tours on virtually any activity imaginable!

During summer, climb a nearby 14er (14,000+ foot mountain) at Quandary Peak. Bike rental shops will point you to the paved bike path along the Blue River stretching for miles of scenic beauty on the way to Frisco. From Frisco you can bike to Keystone, around Lake Dillon and even to Vail Pass!

Breckenridge is serious about summer fun with the Gold Runner (raised rail) Alpine Coaster, hit howling speeds on the famous Alpine Slide, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h91OUmOEHio&feature=related plus take scenic chairlift rides, pan for gems, go bungee jumping, play miniature golf, go white water rafting and take a 4x4 off-road tour!

Did you know The Town of Breckenridge owns a Jack Nicklaus-designed, 27-hole golf course? Not only have numerous national and regional honors have been bestowed on the course, but the golf ball flies farther and straighter than at lower elevations, since there is less air resistance. As summer wanes, taking a drive on Boreas Pass Road during the fall is one of the best places to see fall color in the Colorado – perfectly timed to be the weekend of OktoberFest! Don't miss Breckenridge's many fun and wacky festivals throughout the year!

Despite the appreciation for preserving the old town area, massive ski area improvements continue to enhance the skier experience at Breckenridge. With a new bridge, now you can ski right down to Main Street to Colorado’s largest and best-preserved historic district. The Breck Connect Gondola is right next to the free bus depot, which loads in the middle of the parking lot! Breckenridge banished the death marches schlepping gear!! You'll find everything from steep, above-timberline chutes and bowls to groomed greens and everything in between. There are five terrain parks and half-pipes for skiers and boarders, with the terrain park called “Freeway” rated as one of the best in the United States!

Truly world-class cuisine awaits at many of Breckenridge’s 60 restaurants, plus a vibrant arts scene, numerous spas, and over 200 stores. Downtown Breckenridge shops offer everything from extravagant to oddball. Don’t forget - if name brands are your thing, the expansive Outlets at Silverthorne are only minutes away. Breckenridge somehow blends the indulgent with the funky and friendly that make this town a must-see (and do) for ANY season!
