LARGE OPEN URBAN ZEN LOFT IN THE CROWN OF THE GASLAMP

The unit was exactly as advertised and shown in the photographs. Spacious and beautifully decorated it was a great place to spend a relaxing weekend together. Located on the top of Cortez Hill, the condo is equidistant from Little Italy and the Gaslamp Quarter, both within easy walking distance (< 1 mile). Coming home after a night out is a bit of a climb, maybe a cab would have been in order?

The owners (we met Greg) were great, very professional but also accessible and available with advice and help. When we were ready to depart after parking our car for the whole weekend we found the battery had died. Greg was on mission as soon as I called and had a solution for our jump start within minutes. They meet and greet when you arrive, showing the ins and outs of the condo, and they come to your rescue when you need it, couldn't ask much more from some great VRBO hosts. We look forward to our next trip to San Diego and staying at this condo.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to stay at a very comfortable large loft apartment. The 16 ft ceilings in the open living room were nice to wake up to every morning. Everything looks new and the development is immaculate. VERY Clean! Just like a suite at a hotel. The best part for me was the quiet. No hall way noises, no adjacent room noises like those in a hotel. And the bed was 1000% better than a hotel. I sleep terribly at hotels. Slept like a baby here, unlike other hotels in the Gaslamp that require earplugs to sleep because of the live music on the street level. This unit is about 10 minute walk to the north edge of Gaslamp. Never took a cab and I had to go to a class every morning at Front and Broadway. It was good to get out and walk. To the north of the unit is Balboa Park, a 5 minute walk away. I wish I could find this caliber accommodations every time I travel for work. I will certainly look at VRBO first for my next job related trip. My security deposit was refunded the same day I left! Top notch owners, my sincere thanks! : )

This condo/loft exceeded my expectations. It is well furnished/appointed with great bi-level floor to ceiling windows overlooking Balboa Park. The condo is clean with great amenities. It is stocked with everything you could possibly want. The building is well maintained and kept spotless. The pool, hot tub, bonfire area, grilling and work out area is private and always perfect. Quiet building located at the top of Cortez Hill. The perfect area in the city of San Diego, walking distance to Little Italy, Gaslamp, the entire bay area. We were extremely happy with this condo/loft. We will go back!
