Overview

Centro Storico (Old Rome) Apartment Rental Photos and Description

3 Bedroom, Jacuzzi, Fireplace, Sleeps 8, WiFi, AC, Elevator

Luxury warm and characteristic three bedrooms apartment close to Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori.

The apartment is very quiet and located at the third floor with elevator of an elegant building of four. The interiors are spacious, furnished with care and very bright from the morning till the late afternoon. When you enter the apartment you are in a comfortable entrance leading up to the spacious living room. The living together with the dining room are the hearth of the apartment, from the living you can access the first bedroom, the bathroom and the dining room. From the dining room you will able to access the other two separate bedrooms. The living room comes with a large and comfortable corner sofa, that becomes a standard double bed, an armchair and a 50'' wide led television. All the 3 bedrooms are equipped with queen size beds, the first one comes also with a nice fireplace, the second is roomy enough to eventually guest an extra bed on request. The dining room comes with American kitchen and a table that once opened accommodate up to 8 guests. The kitchen comes with gas stoves, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer and cattle. The bathroom comes with a wide Jacuzzi bathtub with telephone shower, sink wc and bidet. In a separate room there is also the washing machine.

The apartment is very easy to live, the 3 bedrooms are completely independent, and the bathroom is not en-suite. Air conditioned in every room, independent heating, and WiFi broadband internet connection. We will be happy to supply a baby cot on request.

The position of this apartment is awesome, being in the hearth of the historical center. Within fifteen minutes walking you will be able to reach some of the best roman attractions: Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, St. Peter and the Vatican museums just to mention the closest ones...

It may also help to know that at less than 100 meters from the apartment you can find a supermarket (Despar - Vicolo della Moretta, 12), Bank (Cr. Firenze – Piazza della Chiesa nuova, 25), Pharmacy (Celestini – Via dei Banchi vecchi, 24), Wine shop (Vino Olio - Via dei Banchi vecchi, 14), Caffè Bar (Caffè – Via dei Banchi Vecchi, 6).

The area is also one of the most rich of restaurants and pubs, and the list of the ones close to the apartment is really huge, some of them are really just a few steps from the apartment, in Via dei Banchi Vecchi itself or in the narrow streets around.

About Owner/Manager

I am a person who loves traveling, meeting new people, and learning new cultures. I was born in Italy, in Rome, to be exact. I feel very fortunate to be born in this beautiful city where the weather is always mild.

Why Owner/Manager chose Centro Storico (Old Rome)

Of many apartments in Rome, this is located in a perfect location. I suggest to all the people who intend to book not to rent a car. Rome is such a beautiful city that should be enjoyed on foot and this apartment is just the perfect solution.

The area is actually an extremely lively location to stay. It is possible to have speedy access to the unique city activities, attractions and tours. In addition to this, the location is also considered the center of the present day Roman life. The unique narrow streets, and the characteristic architectures, are making this area one of the most attractive of Rome.

What makes this apartment unique

I am always very attentive to details. For me punctuality is a key factor in my work. I do my best to make each customer feel like home.

In addition, before each check-in I prepare a detailed list, built according to the needs of each client, of all the restaurants and shops of products typical of Roman cuisine.

Astounding location. Perfect family apartment.

  • 5 of 5

This place is just remarkable. Spotlessly clean, and you could have a magical visit and never get in a vehicle of any kind.

We are a family of 4. The children are 15 and 13 - boy and girl. They each got their own bedroom - that alone would make it worth it. It's more than spacious enough and the furnishings are of very high quality. My son has recently had knee surgery so the lift was a big help. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is plenty of natural light. All the bedrooms are big with lots of storage. It was easy to keep it uncluttered. The bathroom is surprisingly big and hot water was never ending.

But as terrific as the apartment is, the location is the key attraction. Every morning we'd walk directly across the street for a cappuccino and cornetto. Then there isn't a single important part of Rome you can't walk to. We even walked back from a magical bike ride on Via Appia Antica to the apartment by way of the Colosseum. It was not a long walk. Maybe 45 minutes?

And there is a wine store/bar that is again, 20 meters from the front door. Actually, you have to have a glass of wine, stand on the steps of the store and enjoy a Roman night with the locals at least one night.

There is nothing, nothing that you can't find within 200 meters. Pharmacy, cleaners, food shops, incredible restaurants, a fun bar (Captain Cosmo), jewelry maker, art galleries (many), Segway rental, scooter rental, and a farmer's market outside your door on Sundays.

We spent six nights. I don't like to go anywhere twice but we'll be back to Rome. And there is absolutely no reason to stay anywhere else.

Luigi was great, always available and he's found a great limo service from the airport. Mr Luis and company are pro's. You are a 10 minute walk from: piazza's Navonne, St Peters, the Pantheon, St. Eustache (oh God, the coffee...), Campo de Fiori, the Tiber, Castle St Angelo, many dozens of restaurants, many dozens of galleries, museums (we saw a wonderful Escher exhibit). Whatever you do, get lost. Just wander and enjoy and be grateful you aren't going back to a hotel.

Wonderful location

  • 4 of 5

This property is a 5 minute stroll to Campo di Fiori, only 2 minutes from a major bus stop, and only steps from a grocery store. It is next door to the fabulous small restaurant, Osteria 140. All appliances are modern, the flat is fully air conditioned. The landlord provides a cell phone with his number on speed dial, and his English is excellent. WiFi was excellent. AND it has an elevator in the building. The only minor criticism we had was that the apartment shows a little wear from rentals... rugs could be cleaned and there was some mildew in the shower, but those concerns were minor in relation to the wonderful location and the modern conveniences. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Incredible apartment and owner!

  • 5 of 5

I had a great stay here and I plan to stay again next time I visit Rome. The apartment is in an older building, so it feels like authentic Roman home. Huge doors that open onto the street, little European elevator, authentic Roman neighbors... The place has been renovated though and has all the modern appliances, free Wi-Fi, good water heat and pressure, air conditioning, etc. Location is terrific, just a few steps from Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori. It’s a great home base for a Rome trip. I'll certainly stay there next time I come back.

Loved It

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was extremely nice; just like in the photos! Loved the fact that this apartment had a great Wi-Fi connection. Luigi was available at all times.. If I had questions regarding directions, method of transportation, suggestions for areas of town to dine in, etc., I would e-mail Luigi and he would answer me within 15 minutes! He is a very pleasant, helpful man. The apartment is updated, very spacious, clean, and overall beautiful! Piazza Navona is just around the corner. If I return to Rome, I will DEFINITELY stay here!

Great Central Location

  • 5 of 5

I just returned home from our trip to Italy where my family of 6 stayed in this apartment. Luigi greeted us in front of the apartment and showed us how to get to all the sights from the apartment and they were all very close. The apartment was very nicely decorated it seemed newly remodeled. It was a very quiet apartment. The location is truly central to all the main sights .

Great Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

5 of us (all adults) spent 3 nights at the apartment during our 10 day vacation/road trip around Italy. The apartment was just fantastic. Besides meeting all of our needs, it also exceeded our expectations. Very clean, spacious and a great location to see all of the sites. We walked everywhere with no difficulty (including our 80 year old mother) Another great aspect of the apartment rental was Luigi. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. All of us in the group would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Rome in the future.
