Hi. My name is Natsumi. I am Japanese. I went to San Diego States University in California then moved to Paris. In Paris, I was one of the dot-comers to export children's clothes from Europe until I went to Tunisia. Now I am back and forth between Paris and Hammamet, Tunisia.
I am a fun loving person! I love horse back riding, taming birds, traveling to discover different culture and to meet people.. I enjoy renting my apartment as it gives me opportunities to meet interesting people! I have already made good friends with some of my guests! It's great!:)
When I am not in Paris, my assistant Miho will take care of your check in and out and to help you throughout your stay! I want to receive my guests the way that I would like to be received.
Contact Owner purchased this apartment in 2004
We bought this property because we just fell in love with it for all the light that comes in this apartment from 4 windows including the skylight in the ceiling. The high ceiling and the light gives it a specious feeling. And the structure with the mezzanine gives more room.
Lots of light!! Skylight! Quiet!
We loved the apartment! The location was super close to the metro which made for easy access to all the attractions in Paris. The apartment was a little bit too small for our family of 7, but everyone had a place to sleep, and it was super quiet at night. Parking was hard to find, so I would recommend that tenants not drive but find a place to park and take the metro in. But, I really loved this little apartment. It was wonderful to feel truly Parisian for a few days, grabbing breakfast at the little bakery right down the street, finding fresh fruit at the Tuesday market, just a quick stroll away. Had it just been my husband and I with maybe a kid or two, we probably would have wanted to stay there forever.
I guess we maxed the size of this very nice appartment out. We arrived with two adults and three children for some pretty days in paris. But there still was room enough! The appartment lies on one of the large boulevards, but due to to position in the backyard it was lovely and quiet. We had some warm days in July but as it was so quiet we simply could have the window open all the time and enjoyed the summer.
The communication with the owner and the assistent in Paris and everything around was very nice, and we had no problems. We would never expected to have such a lovely conversation.
At last, having free WLAN, the possibility to phone (even outside France) and a small Computer to check the latest info for your stay completes this nice appartment.
We would always come back here if we planned to stay in Paris again!
We had a wonderful stay at Natsumi's apartment in Paris. The place was very clean and light and secure.
The layout of the apartment was perfect for our family of four, clever use of the space meant we are not on top of each other, and the kids had their own space. The kitchen is we'll appointed and we could cook our own meals when not eating out. The position of the apartment is great, close to bus , metro, supermarkets and some nice restaurants as well as being in a safe area with close parks for our young children.
We stayed a week, and could have happily stayed for a month! We'll be back and when we do we will be staying here again, and definitely recommend It to others.
Thanks Natsumi, it was lovely to meet you.
This apartment is indeed situated in a right location and very secure! Good for those who are on budget and always out on about the town.Try not to travel by metro if possible but use buses instead. One gets to see more interesting places around Paris.Cheerful services on arrival and still very helpful after the following 2 days.Defintely recommend this property to friends and will stay there again next time round. Thanks Natusmi
My mom and I stayed here for 8 nights in April 2013 while vacationing in Paris. Natsumi (the owner) was extremely prompt in responding to our initial inquiry, and was very willing to share information and answer questions all through the process of setting up the reservation, providing payment, and giving us directions. Unfortunately, we were never able to meet her in person, but her assistant Liane met us during check-in and check-out, and she was also very helpful. It actually turned out we had a slight miscommunication regarding our arrival date. Natsumi thought we were arriving on the 22nd, but when we arrived on the 21st, we were still able to meet Liane and stay in the apartment that night regardless, and Natsumi gave us that night for free due to the misunderstanding.
The apartment had been recently renovated with new floors and paint and was very nice and clean when we arrived, despite us showing up earlier than expected. The windows all face a central courtyard and the neighborhood was very quiet the whole time we were there. Even though the apartment is surrounded by taller buildings, the skylight provides quite a bit of light, particularly in the afternoon. The location is GREAT-- there are several markets, boulangeries, patisseries, cafes, restaurants, and a butcher about a block south, so figuring out what to eat or cook was never an issue. The Metro station that connects to the #9 line is right there, although we ended up talking a little walk down to the Bastille to use the #1 or the #8 lines just as often. There is also a drop-in dance studio nearby if you're into that sort of thing (we were). No problems with any kitchen equipment or appliances, although figuring out the right number of clothes to fit in the washing machine took a little bit of trial and error (washing one day's worth of clothes for two people seemed to be the right amount). The computer was missing the drivers for the USB printer when we tried it, so we were unable to print anything, but Natsumi said she would look into getting that fixed. Still, these are minor issues-- we had a really great time seeing a less touristy side of the city and appreciated having this little place we could call our own (even if it was only for a week).
So, to summarize: great customer service, great apartment, great location, highly recommended. If we ever get to come back to Paris, we will most definitely check to see if this place is available!
15 minutes walk to the Marais area.
10 minutes walk to the biggest and most famous farmers market in Paris.
