This 2,800 square foot cottage that sleeps 9 is roomy and comfortable for extended family, and the furnishings are the perfect balance of being stylish, but not too hands-off to sink into after a day on the beach. You enter the house through an arbor covered with Carolina Jasmine and the entrance hall leads to the great room and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. For chilly days and nights there is a beautiful fireplace where your family game night is a must. Downstairs also features a large and bright, well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast area and another ocean view. A perfect place to lounge out and watch TV or read a good book is nearby in your small library with wet bar and ice maker.
You will have 4 total bedrooms, all beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. Each of your bedrooms will have their own full bathroom which makes it convenient for visitors. Your master bedroom has a king size bed, ocean views on two sides and a private balcony with spectacular views of the dunes, beach and ocean. The large master bath has double lavatories, a separate shower and large jacuzzi tub where you can relax for hours on end. Upstairs there is a sitting area and game table, perfect for playing games or working on jigsaw puzzles. The whole house has an atmosphere of coziness that is appealing to anyone. It is large enough so your entire family can be together if desired, but there are several nooks where you can be alone to read, watch TV or snooze.
After a long day in the sun and your toes in the sand, you can walk up your steps and shower off in the outdoor shower. There are painted floors throughout the entire house, so zero worries about the carpets! A charcoal grill is provided so you can enjoy a summer night’s barbecue on one of the three decks surrounding the house. After dinner, walk out to the lookout with benches nestled in the dunes at the end of the boardwalk leading to the beach.
