VICTORIAN COTTAGE ROMANTIC COUPLE GETAWAY

We stayed at the Victorian Cottage for 3 nights last week and LOVED every moment of it! From the moment we drove up the long driveway, passing the friendly goats in the fenced yard, until we walked through the screened in porch into the front door and saw the personalized welcome message written out on a chalkboard on the refrigerator, we were in love with the place! The cottage is decorated so beautifully...we loved the colors, the flowered china, and the many Scripture verses that appeared on various banners, puzzles, and pictures on the walls. Surrounded by farms and wooded trails, the cottage was the most peaceful place we have ever stayed. The only sad part was that it rained so much during our stay that we weren't able to fully enjoy the porch, patio, or trails. But that only gives us more incentive to return for another stay. Also, Elva and Aaron were wonderful hosts. We can't wait until our next visit. The only thing we would really wish for is a wifi connection so that we could watch for important emails.

Every year my husband and I take a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary.This year our 25th, we wanted a place where we could feel like the only couple on earth with serenity and solitude, just us (and God), no man made interruptions." I'll just say this cottage is amazing! The Nolt's have created a magical, romantic,rejuvenating haven for married couples." From the moment you enter the screened porch and proceed into the beautiful cottage all your outside worries seem to fade and its all about the two of you, soft music,sparkling juice chilling,romantic lighting and decor,a full quaint kitchen with everything you need and a relaxing hot tub for two. This cottage left us wanting for nothing--EXCEPT- to return to it as soon as possible. We were even blessed with a very early snowstorm which made hiking a little difficult, but the views were breathtaking....
and the chimnea was definetly able to keep us warm outside on a very cold night.
The cottage is immacculate and the attention to detail is better than any B&B we've ever stayed in . Your close enough to all the hustle and bustle if you need it, but you feel like your secluded and cozy at the cottage. This getaway is a "GEM".
We thank the Nolt's for allowing us to enjoy their awesome retreat. It is truely a blessing for any couple to experience. We are already planning our return to the Victorian Cottage.

This is beautiful, secluded property in the heart of Amish country. The owners maintain it nicely and leave helpful instructions and information. It is quaint and pretty and highlights include the hot tub, porch, and chimnea. It is only 10-15 minutes from a beautiful downtown area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any couple desiring peace and privacy. Thank you for helping to make our vacation great.
