A STROLL TO THE BEACH AND MINUTES FROM NIGHTLIFE

Alquilamos esta casa durante una semana porque estábamos de vacaciones con mi familia. Nos recibió su dueña, tal y como habíamos coordinado, y nos atendió súper amablemente. La casa es muy linda, amplia, luminosa, cuenta con parrilla, pileta y jacuzzi. Está equipada con todo lo necesario para garantizar unas excelentes vacaciones. La ubicación es inmejorable (a una cuadra y media de la playa), en una zona muy tranquila. La propiedad estaba limpia y bien cuidada. Muy recomendable!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the Ft. Lauderdale area. Check in was simple and we were met at the house by Alessandra who gave us a tour of the house. As well she made recommendations on things to do nearby including restaurants, attractions and grocery stores which were all very convenient.

The home itself is quite large with three full bedrooms on the main floor and a spacious master suite with sitting area, cathedral ceiling walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom and private deck. There is additional sleeping for two more on a pull-out. The living space was well-appointed with plenty of room. We did not feel the least bit crowded with 8 adults and a toddler. Additionally, there was a children’s area with many toys, chairs and PS3. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could ask for including many condiments, baking needs, as well as coffee and tea. Alessandra was an extremely gracious host and even brought over a new coffee grinder and kettle for us. The breakfast nook was good for small meals. The main dining room table is quite large and we were easily able to seat ten adults. The main living room was spacious and a good place to hang out for conversation or watching tv. There are no shortages of tvs in the home, every bedroom had one, plus the living room and sitting room. We also found the washer/dryer and provided supplies very helpful with the little one. As well, there was a crib and high chair at the home. There were plenty of good linens available and lots of towels for the beach/pool. The backyard pool and patio was perhaps the best feature of the house. The pool was beautiful, clean and warm and there was also an outdoor bar and BBQ.There were pool toys as well and plenty of outdoor seating.

The area itself was a quiet residential neighborhood only a 5 min walk to the beach. We did have a car and found it very easy to get around the area. Grocery stores and restaurants were a short drive (about 5 min at most). The hotel beach strip and nightlife was a little longer drive but I would still guess it was under 10min.

Checkout was simple and our security deposit was returned quickly. Alessandra and Mark are great hosts and were quick to respond to any questions or requests. We will be recommending this home to anyone we know traveling to Florida and look forward to returning ourselves someday. If you are looking for a beautiful home in a great location, this is it!
