Cape Coral is on Gulf of Mexico and it is called the 'Venice of America' because of its several waterways (640 km). Cape Coral beach can be reached in about 5 minutes. The endless long, white sandy beaches of Ft. Myers and the island paradise of Sanibel and Captiva, are reachable by car in about 20 minutes! Your airport is Ft.Myers and Napels and Sarasota are the neighbouring towns! Key West, Everglades 11/2 hrs, Cape Canaveral and Disney World 3 1/2hrs happen to be some interesting day trips. For golfers it is a 'paradise' as within a circumference of 10 minutes to 1hr drive you can reach twenty low-priced 18-hole golf courses! Shopping outlets, good restaurants, deep sea fishing, swimming and diving, beach and sun make the diverse recreational program complete.
