Master bedroom with king size bed and bath, second bedroom with 2 queen size beds and adjoining bath and a sofa that makes out to a queen bed. Complete furnished kitchen and washer/dryer.
About Ruby Walker

We are a retired couple who live part time at the beach. Ft Morgan beaches are some of the prettiest in the world with white sugar sand and Ft Morgan is one of the last beaches that allows dogs. We like the slower pace with peace and quiet.

Ruby Walker purchased this house in 2002
Why Ruby Walker chose Fort Morgan

This property is set back futher from the water but there is nothing but sand between the house and the water. There are vacant lots next to house so lots of space on the beach.

What makes this house unique

Sugar sand beaches with active nesting turtles and dog friendly beaches. We do encourage cleaning the beach after your pet

We also see lots of wild life such as our red foxes. Forever Wild is purchasing all the area north of the Ft Morgan Road so it will stay ecologically friendly in the future.

Our best place to stay.....from now on!

My two girlfriends and I have stayed in the Ft. Morgan area late spring for 17 years. We are pretty low maintenance and only require the basic accommodations. We have stayed in nice places over the years but nothing like this beach house. Not only was if very clean but it was well stocked with the necessities. The pictures do not do it justice...it is very well decorated. We had by chance the pleasure of meeting Ruby and her husband late in our stay. She asked if we needed anything and our only response was larger coffee cups! She said she would make sure they were there when we stayed the next time. We did find some behind some glasses so it was our bad.
The house is back from the beach by about 15-20 yards but we had no problem with this distance. All the neighbors are well away so there was not any issues with us disturbing each other. We plan to return next year....maybe sooner!!

We cannot say enough about our thoroughly enjoyable stay at Wave II. The house is directly on a sandy access to the beach and the view is perfect. The house is nicely decorated and has all manner of comforts from great beds, Dish TV, DVD player, fully-stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture. A great price and location. Thank you, Ruby! We loved every minute there!

As seniors, looking for a quiet place to get away from it all, we were excited about staying at Wave Watch II. The home is great, well supplied with the necessities, and a few fun things. It is clean, tastefully decorated and beautifully located. Isolated enough for those looking for peace and quite, yet close enough for those looking for tourist activities. There was a minor issue that was immediately addressed by the owner and quickly resolved by the home owner. As Harley riders it was nice to be able to have adequate parking for our vehicle, trailer and the bike out of any potential bad weather. The U shaped driveway is great for those (like me) who have trouble backing up a trailer too.

We would definitely recommend this as a vacation retreat to recharge your batteries and commune with the air, land and sea. If we were not planning on moving to the gulf soon I would definitely stay at Wave Watch II again.

A GREAT WEEK AT THE BEACH

After looking at many beach house listings on the computer my wife and I decided to inquire about Wave Watch II. The owner was very easy to work with and was very helpful in answering our questions. The beach house was just as the listing described in word and pictures. We were in a great part of the beach that was very quiet. We really lliked the fact that we could walk out the front door and right onto the beach. There was plenty of room in the house and the beds were comfortable. This beach house has everything you need for a great family vacation or just a get away for a couple. We plan to return to Wave Watch II in the future. Close access to grocery and restaurants. Good value for the rental price.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

WOW! What a view!

My husband an I have been renting a house on Ft. Morgan Beach for the last 15 years. We normally stay at the same house year after year, but this year we waited too long to book our regular house. We were a little concerned about renting something by pictures only, but we really needed to get away. We were pleasantly surprised. The beach view and distance to the beach were even better than our other house! Everything was clean as a pin and all the kitchen supplies were great! I like to cook for my family and this kitchen was perfect for our needs. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable also. Our Grandchildren loved the sand in the front as they played close to house. Our dogs LOVED romping and playing in the sand and surf.

This house is private in that the two lots on left and right are empty. We loved having a comfortable distance between us and other visitors.

You will not be disappointed if you rent this older, but very nice house. The Walker's have it decorated beautifully with all the comforts of home. We intend to visit again in the Fall.
