Four generations of family members have loved every minute at ‘the cottage,’ and so will you.
Had a fantastic time at the Muma summer home! Great place for our large group, plenty of room. Wonderful beach. Enjoyed going down to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leelanau peninsula, dinner @ Bowers Harbor Inn on Old Mission Peninsula.
Rented a pontoon on nearby Torch Lake for the day (18 minutes away). Did a whole day (9-9) and would do it again in a minute.
Very private location, but with friendly, courteous neighbors nearby.
This is what Pure Michigan means........looking forward to our next stay.
Our family stayed here with our children and grandchildren this past July. The house worked well for our large group and the beach area was perfect for young grandkids. The town of Elk Rapids was very close and Traverse City was a short drive. The bikers in our group enjoyed hours of riding, but because the weather was so perfect we were most happy at the beach all day. The photos were a good representation of what the house was like.
