OCEANTFRONT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS!

Thanks for a great stay--and some constructive criticism

Overall we had an absolutely terrific time--like always. Special thanks to Tim and Peter, who are always wonderful to us. Peter goes out of his way to be helpful to us. Constructive criticism : (1) The switch on the lamp in the guest bedroom is broken, so the only way you can turn the lamp on and off is to plug and unplug it. (2) The unit would really benefit by having a nice, bright reading lamp in the living room. (3) The noise in the master bedroom coming from the upstairs unit is annoying--in this respect, the first week of our stay this year was the the worst in years, because there were three, largely uncontrolled, children staying upstairs, and they started (literally)running and jumping, screaming, dragging furniture across the floor, and repetitively opening and slamming shut the patio door as early as early as 5:30 am in the morning, and regularly by 6:30-7:00 am. To put it simply, there was no possibility of sleeping once that started upstairs. Obviously, at this point I understand there is nothing you are likely to do from a construction or sound suppression standpoint. But I do think it would be helpful to just inform guests staying in that unit that anything they do in the living room area of that unit, especialy running and jumping, is quite noticeable in the unit below, and it would be much appreciated if that could be kept to a minimum between, say, midnight and 8:00 am in the morning. Our family had an absolutely fantastic experience! Peter Mertens, on staff there was very helpful throughout our stay. The unit was beautiful, clean and spacious with a magnificiant view. We slept with the veranda doors open at night and listened to the surf. Have never slept better. Would love to do it again with our kids and will be happy to refer to others. Thanks again for a most memorable experience.
