Lovingly restored 2 bedroom/2.5 bath townhouse one half block from Whitfield Square.

Experience the charm of a historic home (completely restored in 2006) with all the convenience of modern living... Beautiful, original heart of pine floors, 2 working fireplaces on ground level and gas logs in Master fireplace.

Wonderful kitchen with all appliances - large and small to whip up a gourmet meal - even the china to serve it on!!

Oriental rugs, comfy seating, timeless antiques combined with flat screen TVs make this a unique place to spend a long weekend or a week or come stay a season. I offer special longer term rentals. Perfect for a get away or a corporate rental.

From high thread count sheets and down mattress toppers to Jennaire appliances, this home was created with comfort and quality in mind for the short or longer term traveler.

AND there are two off street parking spaces. A real bonus when you are staying in the Historic District.

In addition to cable, wireless internet, CD/DVD and a great kitchen for when you want to stay 'in', there is a private, walled courtyard for when you want to be outside enjoying our lovely fall or spring weather. Courtyard has grill and seating for dining.

Other conveniences include a washer/dryer, oversize claw foot, cast iron soaking tub and ample closet space.

About Carole Lufburrow

Savannahian with deep roots in the City's history. Restored the Lufburrow House in 2006 and lived there for several years before I semi-retired and moved to Atlanta. Enjoy sharing this great house with guests and combing back to stay there myself!!!

I knew when I walked in and looked around that the house had 'good bones'. Just needed a little TLC - like removing the pepto pink shag carpet from the living room

What makes this house unique

The house has a great location, off street parking, working fireplaces, a wonderful master bath with unique soaking tub.

It has a great feel to it. Very comfortable and relaxing.

I chose colors designed to soothe the soul...and added art and furnishings that will please the eye.

The Lufburrow House is located in the Beach Institute/Historic District and is only 5 blocks from Forsyth Park and is an easy walk to museums, shopping and dining. Off street parking is available at the House, so driving is also an easy option.

Whitfield Square and the Wedding Gazebo is a half block away, so great location for members of a bridal party!! and Tybee Island Beach is just 13 miles east of the House.
