This magnificent Adirondack Lodge, custom handcrafted and built in 2010, sits atop a ridge looking over Fern Lake with a picturesque backdrop of the great Adirondack Mountain Range. Located on 5,000 acres of privately owned land, you can partake in any activity you wish to here. Hunting, fishing, four wheeling, snowmobiling, kayaking, canoeing, snow showing, cross country skiing and hiking are some ideas of how to spend your time while staying in this six bedroom, 3 level Lodge.

There are sleeping accommodations for up to 18 guests and this property is ideal for family reunions (especially during the holidays when you’re all trying to decide who’s home to go to and who will volunteer to do all the work!) Do not put the burden on just one family member, you can all chip in and help with the cooking and entertaining in this kitchen that is laid out ideally, so that over ten people can be working in there at the same time without getting in each other way!

Fern Lake is located just 20 minutes from the world-renowned Whiteface Mountain Ski Center and just a few more minutes away from the Internationally Acclaimed Olympic Village of Lake Placid, NY. There is never a dull moment when you are staying at The Lodge at Fern Lake with all the activities available to you here. Amazing Retreat

We visited this property for a second year in a row for President's Day weekend. The description on the website is extremely accurate. All the appliances are new and in perfect condition. The kitchen and the dining accommodations were perfect for our group of 18. The kids had their own space to eat and socialize and the adults enjoyed the dining room without interruptions.
The basement had enough to keep the kids busy while it also had space for them to run around. The bunk bedroom also provided enough space for sleep and "entertainment" for the kids.
The bedrooms on the second floor are beautiful. Extremely comfortable mattresses for a good rest after a day of skiing "the face". Each bedroom has a theme and is unique and tastefully done. The bathrooms are in great condition and again tastefully done.
There is a an office with board games and TV on the first floor and also another set of a beautiful bedroom and a bath.
When selecting a property for our ski vacation we look for style, comfort and convenience. This house has it all. It is only about 20 min to the base of White Face mountain. The location of the house is perfect. It is surrounded by beautiful woods and is on Fern lake, which for a second year in row provided us with an unforgettable experience- walking on the ice with flashlights at night ( the kids thought this to be the highlight of the stay).
Booking the house was extremely easy. The property contact person was extremely helpful and accommodating. It was a pleasure dealing with him.
We will definitely consider this property next year and have already recommended it to all of our friends and family.

Nous étions 16 personnes dans cet immense chalet que nous avons loué en janvier. La localisation est tout simplement impressionnante; pas de voisins à proximité, très grand terrain avec accès au lac, vue panoramique, très boisé et à moins de 2H de Montréal. Le chalet a tout pour plaire à un groupe; chambres spacieuses, cuisine immense (2 laves-vaisselle!), ambiance chalet, tenue impeccable et la salle au sous-sol est parfaite pour des jeux en soirée. De plus, le service à la clientèle est a+. Ce sont des gens de confiance. Bref, je recommande à tous cette propriété. Merci !

Most Awesome Tranquil Vacation Spot

I spent a weekend here with friends and family and had the most wonderful time! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to get away and spend some time in a beautiful home overlooking the most magnificent scenery - a lake surrounded by trees with tall mountains as a backdrop!
The house has lots of personality and is decorated with that rustic lodge touch and custom made furniture. It's really spacious and warm and welcoming at the same time.
Steve was the most pleasant and easy person I could have dealt with. Before I came up he answered all the million questions I had. Once I got up there he was most helpful with showing us around the house and with anything else that came up while we were there. He wanted to make sure we have the most wonderful experience and we sure did.
The kitchen and living areas are so spacious and well kept (helps that its almost new)
There are lots of great activities nearby that can keep you busy for a long time...skiing, horseback riding, bowling, skating etc.
Once you come up you wont want to leave!!
