Both bathrooms are on the first floor. The full bath includes a washer, dryer and tub with shower head.
The half bath is accessed via the bedroom on first floor.

Great location for a North Fork getaway... walking distance to a beautiful bay beach, near some of the best wineries and restaurants. The bay beaches are sandy and calm, which we prefer to the rocky Sound beaches. It's also only a 25 minute drive to Ocean beaches. We had a great long weekend in a charming South Jamesport neighborhood. The cottage itself was very cute withy many conveniences that you won't find in a hotel room.
Home was immaculately maintained. The attention to little details throughout from the well stocked kitchen to beach chairs & towels made the stay effortless. I would definitely return in the future.
This little house is beautifully decorated and is located on a very sweet, well landscaped and maintained, lot that is just a couple of blocks from a quiet and relaxing beach. We comfortably stayed for a week with a party of four adults. Our friends stayed on the ground floor with their own private half bath and we stayed up in the loft bedroom. The loft is very comfortable and lots of fun (like a tree house!) though I can see how it would not be well suited for someone who isn't able to climb a fairly steep ladder. Though the loft has an open doorway, the cloth curtain provided more than adequate privacy. The outdoor shower with hot running water was a huge hit and the kitchen was fully equipped with high end cookware, making group meals featuring all of the locally grown produce and fresh seafood available on the North Fork a joy to prepare. The footprint of the house is small, but it doesn't feel at all cramped and has a light and airy atmosphere. The backyard is compact and private with comfortable seating and a hammock and grill for guest use. If the day is rainy, there is also a fully outfitted SmartTV entertainment system with cable and Netflix capability. The location is residential, but close to wineries and some of the more touristy shopping attractions. The fireflies and wild bunny rabbits that came out each evening to graze on the neighbors' lawns only added to the charm and the owner, Venessa, was readily available to answer questions. She is clearly deeply invested in creating a lovely environment that her guests will enjoy. I would stay at The Point Cottage again in a heartbeat and hope to book another vacation there very soon.
The cottage was small compact but very well designed. Everything supplied for a week's stay.
It was a great pleasure to be in this cottage as it rained for 6 of the 7 days and the TV world soccer became an assent
This house is the perfect vacation home. It is nestled in the heart of south jamesport. The house is about 100 yards from a private beach and minutes away from wineries and great farmers markets. We can here with our family of 4 and the house was the perfect size. It has everything that you would need and there is even a bulletin board of restaurant, spa and winery suggestions in the area. A very top notch house and I would highly recommend it to anyone!! We will be back!!!
This charming little home is newly refurbished and in excellent condition. The dining area seats 8 comfortably and the snug kitchen is workable for two people. Since my husband & I like to cook, we found it well stocked with pans & pots. The absence of a dishwasher was no problem for us. Living room has a flat screen Smart TV so we could use our own account for netflix, etc. The Master Bedroom was sufficient with space & has a sink & toilet ensuite. Guests must climb a library type ladder to access the second bedroom, which is a good sized room with overhead fan and window. The homeowner has comfortable seating both inside & out. The patio in the rear of the home is a little retreat. Beautiful flowers & plants everywhere! The garage is convenient for storing outdoor furniture cushions, umbrella, etc. Location is wonderful. A short walk to the beach. Vineyards & shops near-by and plenty of fine dining in the area. A terrific vacation venue.
