The apartment is in a enclosed golf course complex with beautiful tropical grounds and a beautiful golf course. It has 4 pools and a couple of them feel like private pools because they are quiet and peaceful. The other two are more frequented but it is never too full to find a nice hutch to sit under shade. Across the street is a very nice mall where you will find restaurants like Hard Rock Cafe, Tony Romas, a wine store and several others. They also have stores like BGBG, Guess, and many others.
A very nice new supermarket is ready to open so food shopping to cook at home is very close. There is another supermarket in Plaza San Juan, which is just 5 minutes away. You will be just a few minutes from several beach clubs and accross the street you will also find a couple of beautiful 4 and 5 star resorts for which you can get day passes, if you are willing to spluge some. Otherwise, you are just no more than 5 to 15 minutes away from some of the most beautiful and peaceful blue water white sand beaches in Punta Cana. There are a lot of restaurants in the area since it is in the middle of Bavaro, the most popular area in the Punta Cana area and the in the Dominican Republic.
You also have one free parking spot. A lot of people like to rent cars to be able to explore the area, and it is pretty inexpensive to rent a car for a few days or a week, especially if you have a major credit card that insures you, since that is the highest expense when renting one.
In the apartment, you will have access to an internet USB which you just have to add a few dollars at Claro and have access to internet. You have a portable i-pod player to listen to your music, 32 inch flat screen tv with speakers attached that will give your movies great sound. You will not have access to cable, but you can bring your movies or go across the street to the mall and rent movies. You have two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with two twin beds and a sofa bed in the living room. There is a dinning room and a fully equipped kitchen that is small but cozy and has everything you will need for preparing meals for your family. You have a safe to safeguard your valuables even though the fact that it is a very safe and secure complex. There are air conditioners in the bedrooms and the living room. The living room also has a ceiling fan and there are two portable fans that you can use in the bedrooms, bathrooms or kitchen if you feel you want extra ventilation.
For an additional $25 a day, you can have your own cleaning lady, who will clean and cook for you (food has to be purchased by you at the supermarket). This is great for people on a budget since the restaurants can get pricey because it is a very touristic area. It will also save you the hassle of having to spend time cleaning or cooking for your family and giving you more time to just enjoy your vacation. If you choose not to, the charge for the last day is mandatory in order to assure that the apartment can be ready for the next guess.
It is a beautiful relaxing area where you and your family and friends will be able to sit, put your feet up and relax.
