(1000 m2) This stone villa was once a monastery dating back to the 13th century, and has been carefully restored while maintaining its historic charm. The estate is on a hillside, with Florence visible in the distance, and is surrounded by fruit trees, olive groves, and oaks. There is a terraced garden, a private pool (12 x 5 m, open June through October), and a small pond, as well as a barbeque and covered table for al fresco dining. There is a small farm on the premises 100 meters from the villa, with horses, rabbits, and donkeys, as well as a vegetable garden whose products include tomatoes, cabbage, zucchini, lettuce, and eggplant, and are free for guests to use. The property owner lives onsite in a separate house 30 meters away from the villa.
