This homey farmhouse for rent near Lucca is located in an area of the Italian countryside famous for its wine. Decorated in traditional Tuscan style with wood-beamed ceilings and cotto-tiled floors, this accommodation also features a private pool and furnished terrace, both with beautiful views. Lucca is close by with its charming streets and wonderful shops and restaurants

The farmhouse is situated in an elevated position overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The terrace is furnished with a table and chairs and there is a private swimming pool (12m x 6m) which features a sun deck with sun loungers and an umbrella. An unpaved road leads to the property and parking is available within the grounds.

Ground Floor: The entrance leads to two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, and one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub. First Floor: A staircase leads up to a living room with couches, armchairs, and a TV (local channels only). There is a dining area with a table and chairs and a kitchen equipped with a cook-top, oven, American coffee maker, toaster, and dishwasher. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. The second bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower and the third bathroom has a sink, toilet, and tub.

The property is just under 4 km from a grocery store and six kilometers from the center of Lucca. Lucca is worth enjoying simply for its medieval charm, but there are also a number of interesting sights to visit. The Duomo di San Martino and the Church of San Michele in Foro are both gorgeous examples of period architecture, while the Casa di Puccini, where the composer was born, has been transformed into a small museum in his honor. You can also climb the 130-foot Torre Guinigi, but on the other hand viewing the tree-topped tower from below might be just as enjoyable… and a lot less work! Day trips can include Pisa, Viareggio, and Florence. Nearby Attractions: Market, tennis court, Lucca (Duomo di San Martino, the Church of San Michele in Foro, Casa di Puccini, Torre Guinigi), Pisa, Viareggio (beaches), Florence (Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, shopping) Florence: 95 km Viareggio (beaches): 35 km Pisa: 33 km Lucca: 6 km Tennis court: 5 km Grocery store: 3.5 km
