This apartment is situated on the third floor of a building that dates back to the year 1880. Although renovated since then, many of the features and characteristics of the original building have been maintained, such as the glasswork doors from the living and dining areas. There is a private terrace accessible from the apartment's living room that is furnished with a table and chairs that looks onto a gardened interior of the block below. There is an elevator in the building.

There is a dining area with a table and chairs and the kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. There is also a home office, which has a desktop computer, and three bedrooms. The first and second bedrooms each have a king-size (200 cm) bed (which can be converted to two single beds upon prior request) and an en suite bathroom with two sinks, a toilet, and shower. The third bedroom also has a king-size (200 cm) bed (which can be converted to two single beds upon prior request) and there is a third bathroom with two sinks, a toilet, and shower.

Although referred to as Barcelona's "new town" because it extends past the city's old walls, L'Eixample has many buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries including one of Spain's most famous landmarks, La Pedrera, which was designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi and recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1984. Within walking distance from the apartment is the Passeig de Gracia, which is filled with luxury boutiques and restaurants, Placa Catalunya, Barcelona's most famous square with fountains and statues, and the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, a magnificent piece of historical architecture. There is a metro and bus stop as well as all major services and shops that can be found less than 10 minutes away by foot. Nearby Attractions: Barcelona is a mecca of art, architecture, ports, beaches, and restaurants. Ca l’Isidre (reservations required!), offers fresh and traditional Catalan cooking. For a meal of tapas, visit Cal Pep, located near Santa Maria del Mar, Barcelona’s Gothic church. The Bus Turistic (Hop-on/Hop-off tour) offers two lines that stop at over 44 sites within the city. The works of Gaudi, including Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, and Casa Batlló, are not to be missed. Seek out the loop of Carrer dels Escudellers, named for the early potters, and which has an assortment of restaurants, shops and a flea market on Saturdays.
