San Francisco Furnished Vacation Family Home
Charming turn of the century home has been fully updated with modern appliances and fixtures, yet retains its historical character and classic San Francisco ambiance. Designed by famous architect, Charles L Bugbee, it was built after the 1906 earthquake. The home is on 3 levels including a spacious roof deck with truly breathtaking panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay and the City. Relax on the deck with your friends and enjoy a beverage together while watching the sunset over the bay and the hills of the Presidio. You're only steps away from well known SF restaurants and shops, as well as the Cable Car stop on our corner. High atop prestigious Russian Hill, it's a short walk in any direction to the City's top attractions; Polk Street cafes, Union Square shops, North Beach, China Town and Fisherman's Wharf.
The home sits above the entrance stairs and as you pass through the security gate to the private entrance, you'll begin to feel how special your vacation home is. Enter through front door into sunlit rooms with comfortable furnishings which invite you in and welcome you home for a quiet rest from the excitement of the City outside your door. Dishes, flatware, cooking utensils and a variety of cookware are provided. The open floor plan of the well lighted kitchen/dining room provides a perfect set-up for entertaining your guests and mingling around the fireplace while the meal is prepared. The small bath on the main level retains some of the original tiles and fixtures that were provided to re-build after the 1906 earthquake for those interested in historical elements.

My wife and I have been fortunate in our life together to travel the world both on business and for personal pleasure. Even when we lived and work in far away places, coming home to San Francisco is always the best part of our trips. We love the City and look forward to sharing our comfortable home with other travelers.
Who doesn't love San Francisco .... We have been fortunate enough to live in this unique home for the past 14 years and we love being in the center of the San Francisco experience. We enjoy entertaining our friends and family who enjoy visiting our home; something they have done since they watched us get married in our home's charming backyard garden. Each have their favorite neighborhood restaurants and shops, walks and runs, galleries and museums. And sharing the City with them is more than one could ask for!
So close in proximity, we absolutely love jogging on the path at Chrissy Field, taking in the beauty and serenity at the beach while often spending time with our grandchildren kite flying on Marina Green.
There's something for everyone right in our neighborhood.... including the City's best pizza, the freshest and authentic sushi, tapas, corner grocery stores and the original Swensons Ice Cream Shop that has been in the neighborhood for 60 years-- all within one block of our family home. Good thing we have a few stairs up to the house to stay in shape.
Walk to Fisherman's Wharf and catch the ferry to take a tour of Alcatraz. Walk to the historic Ferry Building and take the Oakland Ferry to famous Jack London Square where you can have a BBQ dinner at EJ's (live music) or go to Yoshi's for Sushi and live Jazz. Go to a Giants' Game at the beautiful AT&T Park.
