The villa is located about a kilometer and a half from the waterfront with shops and tavernas and three kilometers from the beach, both which can be reached by car. Skopelos, the main port of the island, is located three and half kilometers from the villa, and is the greenest island in Greece with more than 50 percent of its surface covered by untouched forests of pine trees. This charming town is built around the harbor and has many shops, boutiques, restaurants, and markets. There are also lively music clubs that play everything from jazz to traditional "rembetika" music. Narrow cobblestone streets make up much of Skopelos and the main site is definitely the Venetian castle, which is visible from every part of the town. It features only the most gorgeous panoramic views. Great daily activities can include a visit too the cultural center, where there are book fairs, photography exhibitions, and puppet shows or to the Pirate's Graves at Sedoukia.
