Casa Fiorenza is located in the heights of Praiano, a peaceful, historic village in the center of the Amalfi Coast. Although the house is located above the town, there is no traffic noise. It takes about 20 minutes by foot to reach the town. There is a bus stop 50 m from the house, with orange mini-buses into Praiano (centro). That same bus continues on to Positano. It runs every hour from June 15 to the end of September and every two hours for the rest of the year. The SITA bus stop, with buses to Amalfi, is a 10 minute walk downhill. There is also a good grocer just a few minute's walk from the house. Bars and restaurants are also accessible by foot (15-20 minutes). The pebble beach at Praia is accessible by foot (30 minutes), car, or public transport in the summer. There are several restaurants at the beach, in addition to boat rental facilities and a diving school. Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Sorrento, and Salerno are all within convenient reach by bus. Blue SITA busses cost about 1-2 euros, depending on destination. Stops are marked with a blue and white SITA sign. The small internal bus (orange mini-bus) of Positano is marked by a brown FERMATA sign. Driving times are: Ravello to Amalfi, 15 minutes; Amalfi to Positano, 30 minutes; Positano to Sorrento, 35 minutes.
