Andrew Logan House is quintessential in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Nestled in a part of old town that is a great location for walking to all the shops, theatre, waterfront, dining and parks, but in a little known nook that is seldom explored by the tourists! Just one street away from access to the Niagara River, this home is situated on a huge double lot that spans from Riccardo Street to Delatre offering amazing garden space that meanders around the house to the terrace back garden meanders down to the back parking lot. Lots of parking and lots of privacy! No expense was spared to make this holiday home comfortable, with central air, high end appliances –including 2 ovens, luxurious bedding and the ultimate in outdoor spaces. The house has Wifi, cable TV, 5 Televisions, 2 gas fireplaces … all that is missing is you and some of your favorite people to join you!

From the front it looks like a quaint home, but once inside you are invited in by a welcoming bright foyer that leads you past the gourmet cooks dream kitchen to the great room which overlooks the garden and out towards the Niagara River. The view from the wall to wall floor to ceiling windows is of the back garden and overlooks Delatre Street where you can watch the horse drawn carriages stroll by!

All year around this home offers something special! The spring and the summer offer the spectacular professionally cared for gardens. And in the late fall, through the winter months after the foliage drops you have an amazing view of the Niagara River. If you love your garden you will delight in the specimens you will find in Marion’s and Trish’s garden. The Pink and white themed garden is full of surprises that you can delight in and hopefully identify because they usually aren’t successfully grown in our region!

Brazilian hard wood throughout this is a very large home with ample space for everyone. To assist people with mobility issues, we have a ramp to get into the front door. The main floor has a bed room with en suite, laundry room, kitchen, kitchen nook and great room. For those early risers or late night readers, there is a little nook off the kitchen – a little porch area outside, perfect for bird watching, star gazing or sitting quietly reading a good book and enjoying a much loved beverage brew ( I mean tea of course!!). The great room has a dining area open to the living room with a huge fireplace but no TV!! This is the place for great conversations, reminiscing, singing birthday songs and making plans for your next adventure! The wall to wall windows brings in lots of natural light and the room is perfect for gathering together over a good meal and a enjoying the nectar of our local grapes.

The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances including 2 ovens! The well equipped kitchen, marble counter tops and spacious layout has room for 2 cooks! The kitchen nook is perfect for sitting together to plan your adventures over a morning cup of coffee or make it the kids table when you are having an evening meal!

The main floor bedroom is a king bed located at the front of the house away from the social spaces, allowing peace and quiet to watch a little TV before slipping into a deep slumber! The bathroom has a glass tiles walk in shower.

Upstairs has two bedrooms with en suites (1 king and 1 Queen) with tub shower combo ensuites. Both rooms have TV’s . The front room has a nice sitting area with a desk…just encase you are forced to check in with work. The back bedroom has a balcony overlooking the river .

The lower level has a bedroom with twin beds. The spa bathroom has a jetted tub, walk in shower, heated towel rack. The perfect place to soak away all your cares! The family room has a pull out queen couch, gas fire place, wine bar with a sink and a walk out to the back garden.

The 3 level terraced garden is a little bit of paradise with ample sitting room for an outdoor meal cooked on the BBQ/Grill. The Upper waterfall flows down into the lower pond where you can watch the fish swim. No fears of the depth because we have had it covered for the little one’s safety.

Come stay at Andrew Logan House and you will be charmed for life. This is a jewel in the crown of vacation rentals!

About The Owner

We are a bit of global wanderers, having worked overseas for much of our careers. We are both from Canada but have only recently moved back while our kids are in post secondary school. When we were looking for our forever home and dreaming of retirement we came upon Niagara-on-the-Lake and were charmed instantly. Lovers of wine, this region were a delightful surprise and exploring its bountiful offerings has become a hobby. While we have found some spectacular wines, we have also had our share of some that well we say, weren’t as enjoyable as hoped. However it is the mystery of finding that something special and unique that keeps us going to all the local wineries, big and small, well known to start ups. Our joy is the journey…. And the prize of finding a truly spectacular vintage to share with our really good friends!

This region has so much to offer and we enjoy it all! Live theatre, parks, gardens, great walking and hiking, fruit stands, local boutique shops and amazing restaurants. Once we found Niagara-on-the-lake we then started looking for our forever home!

Andrew Logan House was purchased it had so many of the things we were looking for. First of all the location is amazing, right in the old town, near the river yet in a quiet neighborhood out of the better known tourist areas. We have a big extended family so lots big bedrooms are a must. We love to cook so a big kitchen and open concept areas were also really important. We all know that no matter what, everyone ends up in the kitchen! Lots of natural light was also very important, the skylight in the kitchen and getting both east and west sun was a bonus! We have done some renovations and spent hours and hours lovingly tending to the garden. Every year we think of something else to change or modify as we tweak it, but we also get so much joy in sharing it with others. So we welcome you to come and explore our home and our town, we hope you will share in our love for all that we offer!

Pure luxury and satisfaction

I rented this lovely home for several members of my family who were coming to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a wedding. Each and every guest was awed by the beauty of the home, the comfortable surroundings and the luxury of this tucked away gem. With four bedrooms (plus a sofa bed) and four full bathrooms, there was plenty of space for everyone to escape when needed but also ample space in the common areas for gatherings. The house is quaint looking and historic on the outside but very modern inside while still holding on to some of the original charm of the home. The location is perfect as it was an easy walk to Queen Street and all the shops and restaurants. It is also very close to the lake and many parks. Just lovely all around.

We visit Niagara on the Lake every year and for the past 3 years, Andrew Logan House is the spot for us. The location is perfect, the facility is stunning and everything works. When we enter the house we are at peace and sometimes its hard to just get up and leave to go to the Shaw! We have rebooked for next year already.

Peaceful oasis.

I've visited the Andrew Logan House more than half a dozen times now and it never fails to impress. It's a well stocked, clean and well thought out home away from home.

I love to cook and the kitchen contains everything you could possibly need to throw a large dinner party- from cocktail glasses and handmade pottery serving dishes to table cloths and cheese boards. The spectacular chef's kitchen is a joy to work in and comes stocked with basic necessities that you don't want to buy when you're on vacation.

The beds are extremely comfortable, the linen is crisp and clean, washrooms contain locally made, all-natural toiletries and there's plenty of closet space. The spa bathroom on the lower level is spectacular.

This home truly earns it's 5 star rating.

Fabulous Says It All....One of the best homes The Sisterhood have rented!

A weekend away with 8 ladies who all fell in love with this fabulous home. The pictures were nice on the website and caught our attention, but did not fully capture its beauty and spaciousness. The great room/dining room combination picture does not exude the serene feel, the fresh and comfortable lounging area where we spent most of our time. The house was so beautiful and comfortable that we opted out of a wine tour in lieu of staying in the great room in front of the fireplace. The kitchen is one of the most fully stocked kitchens we have ever used and the double oven allowed for great meals to be prepared. We ladies like our large wine glasses and this house provided this with a wine fridge and bar. The dining table which sat 8, overlooking the backyard had us wishing the garden was in full bloom so we could fully appreciate what it has to offer. However, the view of the lake helped! The bedroom furnishings and closet space are the best of any home we stayed and with each bedroom having an ensuite, we ladies were able to get ready much faster (loved the towel warmer and oversized, glass showers). We really appreciated the large parking space in the back of the home as we all come from differing cities. The ability to leave the cars parked all weekend and have a short walk to the stores/restaurants was a great bonus. Clean, fresh, beautiful and deceivingly large were a few of the words being said of the home throughout the weekend. The communication, attention to detail, and accommodating owner/management company made this rental one of the best and one we would love to rent again...especially in the summer to see the back garden in full bloom...wow! Located just two streets from the water front, just one street from the Sailing club, and one street from the Gazebo by the shores of the Niagara River. This location is in a quiet neighborhood but really close to Queen St, live theater, shops, restaurants and parks! Located just a couple of streets away from the oldest golf course in North America, you want walk with your clubs! Also close by is the historic Fort George which is great for kids young and old at heart! For the under 8, the wading pool and playground at Simcoe Park is just around the corner, the older kids might enjoy the bigger public pool just off the Commons with tennis court, hiking trails and self interpretive military museum.
