Our house is bright, sunny, open and has lots of character. It can hold a maximum of 8 persons. The upstairs is a loft with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The kids loft bedroom has a twin/full bunk bed with an extra twin trundle, the guest loft bedroom has a full size futon. Downstairs there is a master bedroom with a king size bed and separate bathroom. In the living room there is a full size futon. We have a fenced backyard with lots of room for kids/dogs to run around and adjacent to a creek/water easement. The house has internet access, a drive way for two small cars (or one big car) plus extra parking in front of the house.
The house is located in a cul-de-sac with low traffic. You can expect a quiet, comfortable stay in our well appointed and clean house.
Our neighborhood is one of the most popular in Austin. There are several good places to eat (Zocalo, Galaxy, Cipollina, recently re-opened Jeffrey's, newly opened Josephine's House), a nice grocery shop (Fresh Plus), a classic pharmacy/diner (Nau's), and one of the best coffee houses in Austin (Cafe Medici). Our house is 3 minutes walking distance from all of them. We are also walking distance to three nice parks with playgrounds, swimming pool/water sprinklers (during summer) running trails and the best doggie playground in town.
We are close to downtown, UT, Zilker Park and Deep Eddy. By car you are 5-10 minutes away from all these attractions. Bus stop for downtown/UT route is 5 min walking distance. If walking is your thing, you can be at Zilker Park, Whole Foods, Sweetish Hill Bakery, Z-Tejas, Amy's Ice cream, Waterloo Records, Book People in 15-35 min.
