Queen beds with memory foam mattresses. Large closets in each room.

About Alan

My name is Alan and I am a true Austinite. Artist, photographer and of course a musician, (classical violin and guitar) I attended parochial school here in Austin, Then moved on to the School of my Grandfather,and Father. The University of Texas here in Austin Tx.

Alan purchased this house in 1930
Why Alan chose Austin

A family owned property from one of Austins first settling families.

You can't get any closer to the middle of it all. Next to down town. Next to ACL fest. Next to Auditorium Shores, Town Lake(Lady Bird Lake), the Long Center, the Palmer Center, Zilker park, Congress Ave. That is all less than a mile away. Sixth ST, the Capitol, the Convention Center, the Warehouse district, Whole Foods (HQ and store), all just over one mile away.

What makes this house unique

The property backs up to the Green belt with hiking trails and a dry (sometimes wet) creek, . Less than a mile and walk-able to an abundance of restaurants all with outdoor patios and some with live music. The famous Saxon Pub is just a mile away with great live music every single night ( Always a good place to spot celebrities )

Bouldin Creek, located on the other side of the lake from downtown Austin. The historic nature of the neighborhood and eccentricity of its residents mean it will always be a little bit different. For those who doubt the 'weirdness' of South Austin, look no further.

Our home is on 3/4 of an acre surrounded by live oak trees, with two side wooded areas. The neighbors are a few lots over from the house, they will not be right next to you.the house is also up from the street.

We had a wonderful time there. Just the right size and price for our family, with everything we needed. We were able to bike everywhere. Definitely recommend you stay there.

OMG this place was so cool. It's in a funky kinda artsy neighborhood. You feel like your in the country at night time. but your in the city. We were able to walk to a park and go to 6th street. The house had everything we needed. Just like being at home when my boyfriend got back from his conference he was able to stretch out and relax.
