Enjoy peaceful serenity and incredible bay views at this quiet cottage. This property offers private beach access and spectacular views of Sandy Neck. This home includes a large deck, guest wing, a full kitchen, washer/ dryer and grill. Swim out to the raft or explore the flats at low-tide. The yard includes mature blueberry bushes.

Nearby...: Shopping and movie theatres can be found nearby at the Hyannis Mall. The local village includes a fantastic local grocery/ wine shop, a coffee shop, fantastic antique stores, an ice cream stand and the historic Sturgis Library. You can charter a fishing boat from the local harbor, go whale watching with the kids and enjoy a sunset dinner at the Mattakeese Wharf Resturant. Fresh fish and lobster is also for sale at the Osterville Fish Too located right next to the marina.

Other activities...: There are great bicycling trails nearby at Nickerson State Park and there are more great hikes on the Cape than I could mention.

About Clay Dalton

We were raised in Kentucky, but our mother and her family are all from Boston. We've been vacationing in Barnstable our whole lives.

Clay Dalton purchased this house in 1977
Why Clay Dalton chose Barnstable

This cottage was our mother's home for almost 25 years. It has since passed down to her children and we've been renting the cottage to vacationers since 2011.

What makes this house unique

The cottage has been expanded over the years, but the best feature has to be picking fresh blueberries out of the yard for our pancakes and pies.

One of the best spots

This place is paradise. We have rented all over the Cape and Islands and this is one of the best spots. Thank you for sharing your home with our family. We really enjoyed this seaside spot. The beach here such a friendly place for kids. We almost do not want to tell any of our friends about this piece of heaven. See you next summer.

Wonderfully Relaxing...

We enjoyed our visit immensely. The whale watching was fun and the recommended restaurants lived up to expectations. We hope have the chance to return to this wonderfully relaxing Cape Cod cottage
