2 bedroom central apartment with free on-street parking

Our apartment is newly refurbished with contemporary furnishings. It is clean and bright with an airy feel. We have designed it to be practical but comfortable.

It is fully equipped, bright, modern and comfortable. It is conveniently located in the ever popular Hillside district of Edinburgh, approximately 1 mile east of Prince's Street, on the edge of Holyrood Park. Many of Edinburgh's main attractions

are easily accessible including Edinburgh Castle, the Old Town, Holyrood Palace, The Scottish Parliament, the new twon, National Art Galleries and museums.

The property is located on the first floor of a traditional tenement block, with access to a communal garden. It has two double bedrooms which can be arranged as either doubles or twins, to sleep up to two people in each. Each bedroom has a built in wardrobe. All bedding and towels are provided at no extra charge. For additional guests, a leather double sofa bed is located in the living room, suitable for two people. There is also a travel cot available for babies.

The living room is bright and spacious with a large bay window. Flat screen Smart TV, DVD player, HIFI /IPOD dock and Wireless Internet are all provided along with a selection of books, DVDs, jigsaws and games. A pull out dining table is also provided, with seating for up to 6 guests. A high chair is also available.

The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. The bathroom is newly fitted. It has a bath, power shower and heated towel rail.

Please note that the apartment is accessed via one flight of stairs and that the bathroom is narrow.

There is free on-street parking outside the apartment and the property has good public transport links, being very close to bus stops to all major attractions and the airport.

We offer a meet and greet service whereby you will be met at the property to receive keys, be shown the layout and have any questions answered.

Check in is after 2pm and subject to the availability of the property manager. Check in after 9pm will be subject to a fee of £15 for unsociable hours. Check out is by 10am. Early arrivals and late departures may be possible upon request but will be subject to an additional fee.

Although we now live abroad, we met at university in Edinburgh, and so this city remains close to our hearts. We had many fun days and nights in Edinburgh and like to return regularly to continue to explore the city with our family. We have seen many sides of life in Edinburgh over the years and the wealth of activities and attractions the city offers.

Our desire to return regularly to edinburgh prompted us to purchase a property here. This apartment was spacious, with traditional features but with the potential for modernisation. It now has a contemporary and airy feel. It is close to all of Edinburgh's main attractions, to enable us to use it as a base for our family, and to share with others who also wish to explore the city.

Bus service right at the door. Nice cafés, small grocers at the door step. Highly recommended.

Although we arrived quite late due to my misunderstanding of train tables :( , we were met very graciously by Joan who got us settled in. The beds were very comfortable and the sitting room very welcoming and functional. All appliances worked very well. The only detraction was an unpleasant odor in the flat throughout our stay. We realize that it is in an old building and some things are unavoidable. Overall great value for the cost.

I am however, very sorry to hear that there was an unpleasant odor throughout your stay. I often stay there myself and this is not normal even though it is an old building. Lovely, Comfortable Flat

My husband, myself and my three sons were met by the property manager 30 seconds after we got out of our taxi. Tho the add states that it is a first floor apartment it is actually on the second floor of the building.
It is bright, airy and totally renovated. The rooms are large and have more than enough storage. The beds are comfortable and my kids were very happy to have WiFI. The Royal Mile and EdinburghCastle is about a 20 minute walk. There are mini marts and take away food places just down the street. About a mile away is the big grocery store where we were able to buy stuff for breakfasts and lunch so we could take sandwiches with us. We loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone.

2 week stay in May

We stayed in this lovely apartment from May 8 - May 23rd, 2013. It is a bright, airy apartment with comfortable beds and a beautiful kitchen. All appliances and furniture are new and clean. It is a great place to stay if you want to be close to everything but in a real neighborhood. Within 2 blocks there are several grocery stores and bakeries, a video store, a pharmacy, a hardware store, two gift shops, several take-away restaurants, a tailor, and even a cat rescue. Bus service to the airport is available within a half block and service to all the attractions is within 2 blocks, although we usually walked everywhere. When we had a problem with getting the TV to work someone came to help us right away. We will recommend this apartment to any of our friends going to Edinburgh and we hope to return ourselves.
