4 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Executive Ranch just 1.9 Miles to the North Conway Village

Lovely single family home with 4 bedrooms (one is a den with a queen bed, sitting area, and fireplace) and 2.5 baths. Living room is sunken with gas fireplace and is open to Kitchen. There is a covered porch off of kitchen. The kitchen was completely updated in Spring 2012 with light cherry cabinets, Quartz solid surface counters, and stainless steel appliances, All three rooms have panoramic unobstructed views across the valley to the mountains to include from left to right - White Horse Ledge, Cathedral Ledge, Humphrey Ledge, Mount Washington, Black Mountain Range, Mount Bartlett, Mt. Kearsarge North, Black Cap (Cranmore Mountain).

This is a great place for people to both stay at home and enjoy the views while others go off shopping at the outlet stores (less than a mile away), or hiking (pick a mountain), or skiing.

The skiing mountains to choose from include Cranmore, Attitash, King Pine, Shawnee Peak, Black Mountain, Bretton Woods and Wildcat. A great feature during the winter months is the driveway is level and there is an attached two car garage so you don't slip and slide back to the rental! There is a mudroom and laundry area are off kitchen leading into two car garage. Master suite with views of Mount Kearsarge from your queen bed - 3/4 bath off of master. 1 bedroom has bunk beds and another has a single bed with trundle bed. There is a queen bed in the den that also has a fireplace. 1.5 miles from the old village of North Conway.

Carl and I live on the seacoast of New Hampshire and enjoy hiking, skiing, and sight seeing in the white mountains with our three children. Carl is an oceanographer with NOAA and I am a Realtor and reservist in the Coast Guard. When we are not on the Seacoast, we are either travelling to my parents on Cape Cod or heading up to the White Mountains.

Over the years we have rented homes on homeaway. In fact, we rented them in the White Mountains and while the homes were wonderful, we always wanted to be a little bit closer to the down town. This property has that and more.

Being just down the street from the outlet malls and under two miles from the Village of North Conway was wonderful and met our location needs, but to also have unobstructed panoramic views, and a quiet neighborhood were too much to pass up.

So as you can see, we bought the place for location...the condition was lacking! The house was a wonderful executive ranch with grand foyer and a two car garage, but it was dated. When we purchased the property, we rolled up our sleeves, did some work ourselves, and called a number of contractors :-)

The home now has mostly oak floors, two of three updated baths and all repainted walls. It has new drywall in some rooms, and new windows in others. We replaced the furnace and hot water tank and we moved the kitchen from what is now the Den to what was the dining room so that the house was more in tune with a family in the 21st century.

I hope you choose our home and enjoy it as much as we do. Whenever we have a chance to travel up north and sit on the covered porch, we sit there, looking at the views, and contemplate on how lucky we are to live in New England.

AMAZING!!! DEFINETELY RECOMMEND

We stayed for three days and when we were leaving, my a half year old asked if we could move to this house and live there forever. She summarized how we all felt about this place.

The great room and open concept kitchen are beautiful and spacious. It has everything you need and more. It beats my kitchen hands down. It felt so comfortable and like home, that we ended up eating there every night instead of eating out. The Master bedroom is gorgeous with a beautiful fireplace and sitting area. And the view, you can't beat that view!

We were there to go to the 'Day out with Thomas' event and loved that we could see the train peak through the trees in the distance. Since the trains only run for tourists, there is no noise in the morning or evenings.

VERY LARGE, VERY CLENA

This was a my first time w/HomeAway so I wasn't sure what to expect but this place was great-- Very close to Cathedral's Ledge and downtown and much larger than I expected. We'll definitely be back!

Molly was available 24/7 and always responded to my questions w/in a couple hrs (typically w/in a few minutes).

GREAT SPOT FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY

In a nutshell:
- Best part of house was the location and the expansive views of the valley and mountain ranges.
- The kitchen and bathrooms were good and the house overall was very comfortable, clean and well taken care of.
- The fireworks were directly in the middle of the beautiful view for the 4th of July show which was great.
- The rental was great value during the summer when we stayed in 2013.
- We would recommend the property to anyone and the owners are fantastic.
- I would have given the property five stars if the porch had been screened in so you could sit outside during the great sunsets without having to be coated in bug spray.
- Next time we are in North Conway we will try to get this place again!

PERFECT RENTAL HOME FOR NORTH CONWAY

I couldn't have been more pleased with this house. The location is perfect, just off the main drag but far enough to be peaceful.
My group of 6 included my husband and myself, my 2 kids (17 & 12) and my parents. Each kid got their own room, my parents were very happy in the master, and Hubs and I were very comfortable in the den. Since the den has a queen bed, it's really like a 4-bedroom house. As another reviewer commented, our group also spent a LOT of time out on back porch overlooking the fields. The Conway Scenic Railroad goes by the far edge of the cornfield, so we'd see & hear it going by (but not frequently enough or loud enough to be annoying.) Then we road that train, and we could see the house!
We ordered in pizza and wings one night for a family movie night, and we also made good use of the board games. We loved going down to the river. My son has a new-found love of skipping stones.
Molly is great to deal with and very responsive over email and by phone. I highly recommend this rental property and look forward to staying here again, hopefully for a ski trip this winter.

LOVE THIS PLACE!

This property has EVERYTHING... location, amenities, top-notch furnishings, plenty of room, and gorgeous views!! My husband and 2 dogs enjoyed a great 3-night stay here, and enjoyed walks to the river and into town. VERY CLEAN and nicely appointed. This is exactly the type of home we would like to buy in North Conway.
