The Log Cabin is a newly built 500 sq.ft. cabin with 2 private bedrooms. Get ready to relax! You can enjoy the view of the Caddo River from the front deck as you kick back in one of several seating areas, while you are BBQing on the 8' grill or when you are in the 6-person hot tub. The grill and hot tub are located under a covered portion of the deck. The Log Cabin has a full kitchen with all the appliances and gadgets any cook would need. The living area is open to the kitchen with a 47' flat screen TV and plenty of comfy seating. The cabin has 2 private bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other a queen bed. The bathroom has a 3' x 5' tiled shower with plenty of fresh fluffy towels. Beach chairs and lawn chairs await you at the arbor located at the rivers edge. Enjoy fixing smores at the fire pit while playing horseshoes and cooling off in the river.

About Lori Kuykendall

We left the rat race of Kansas City to slow down and enjoy life. This is our permanent home and we chose to share it with others. If you haven't forgotten how to relax, come for a visit. You will leave refreshed.

My husband Rick knew this was 'the place' the moment he pulled into the driveway. We had searched for several years for the perfect place and found it here. Nestled in the Ouachita National Forest with Caddo River frontage and a peacefulness that is hard to express. The old growth trees, fresh air and crystal clear running water of the Caddo are beautiful and provide mega doses of positive energy.

This place is amazing. It was our second trip to the property and it keeps getting even better. There is no need to even look at other cabins in the area. If you stay here you will understand why. The land surrounding the cabins is beautifull and I cant think of anything that they could do improve the cabins. Relaxation at its best!

Incredible stay in a beautiful cabin.

We arrived late on Friday afternoon to find our cabin warm and inviting, lights on and ready for us. The cabin was beautifully decorated and in a gorgeous location that encouraged relaxation and quality family time. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every moment. The kitchen had everything you could need, the linens were perfect, the beds were comfortable, and the furnishings were cozy. Lori (the home-owner) is friendly and helpful - always willing to help or re-supply items as needed. We will definitely be back.

For future renters, keep in mind that this cabin is in a somewhat remote location so plan accordingly. This was perfect for what we wanted/needed, but plan to drive 30-45 minutes for a meal or grocery shopping.

Lori, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “The Little Paradise” that you have . Everything was immaculate and very well appointed. You made us feel welcome from the first morning with your hospitality . Thanks for the coffee we needed it...lol. We also enjoyed dinner with you ..... Thanks for the compliments on the gumbo...I told ya !! We felt like we “entered as guest and left as friends” !! Your security system “Lillie & Maddie” were a pleasure to be around as well. Thanks for making us feel at home. We look forward to our next trip !
