I stayed here for a week, as my own home was being remodeled. I'm a Park City local, and i always recommend staying in Old Town when coming to visit Park City because there is so much to offer and it puts you at the heart of everything. Minutes to walk to Old Town restaurants and shops, to the ski lifts, hiking/biking trails and on the bus line. It offers great flexibility if you come with a large group with different interests - you don't have to depend on your car to get around or to shuttle others around, and you get to avoid the skier car traffic! Eat out at the restaurants only a 3 minutes walk away, or eat family style in the huge gourmet kitchen. This home would be a dream setup for those busy ski weekends or during the Sundance festival, and much better than staying in a hotel and being separated from your travel group.
The home is gorgeous and the set up is perfect. Walk right in the front door and throw your ski stuff in the large ski locker/mudroom, complete with boot dryers!
The kitchen is impressive and great for entertaining a large group. The large island with the bar seating can hold a ton of food/appetizers and it opens to the living room so there's plenty of room for people. The kitchen has all the amenities you need to cook up a Thanksgiving feast! Set the mood with the in-wall ipod plug ins and play your music through the house or to the deck areas.
Each bedroom has its own unique and private bathroom, and the beds are super comfortable, with nice down blankets and great mattresses.
The upstairs master bedroom has a washer and dryer IN the walk-in closet - so efficient! Additionally there is a huge jetted tub you can fall asleep in while watching the in-bathroom TV.
The kids bunk room looks so fun for the kids, and it is nicely tucked away downstairs, In fact, the entire bottom level "game room" is one of my favorite parts of the house. There is a theater room in addition to a huge flatscreen and a gas fireplace. A climbing wall, air hockey table, and giant bean bag makes this a superfun kid hangout that even the adults will want to hang out in. My nephews were entertained for hours in there. The hot tub is also down on this level, outside where you can catch views of Main Street.
The house was super clean, the owners were amazing, and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here for its perfect locations and luxurious yet practical amenities.
