Cozy and warm Sunset bungalow!
I stayed here for the New Years weekend with my boyfriend and 4 other friends and it was excellent! It was spacious enough for everyone, very warm and cozy, and the kitchen was great! We didn't spend too much time in the house because we were out exploring the city, but it had everything we needed to comfortably get ready for a night on the town. There was a nice flat screen TV, great speakers for our iPhone/iPod, nice bath, and a big kitchen. The home was very clean and nicely updated with all the modern finishes (for those of you that prefer stainless steel appliances and granite countertops ;). We mostly drove and took cabs to downtown, embarcadero, etc. I guess Sunset is a bit more on the outskirts of the city according to my friend, a long-time SF resident, but it's safe and in a great residential neighborhood, very close to Twin Peaks. The view of the city while driving towards downtown in gorgeous, and we were lucky because the weather was bright and sunny the entire weekend! It took us about 10-15 minutes to get down into the heart of the city, not a problem at all considering there's traffic everywhere and the price of our stay just could not be beat for a big holiday weekend. However, the most important feature of our stay here was our friendly and accommodating property manager, Eric! He was so nice and hospitable from the moment we booked to several days after check-out (when my boyfriend forgot his iPhone charger and Eric gladly and promptly mailed it to us free of charge!). So thank you so very much, Eric, for your gracious hospitality and beautiful property! I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and would love to return on my next trip to the city!
