Very Central, Best Value, No Hidden Extras! Walk Everywhere

Easy walking distance from Tribunal, Plaza de Espana, Noviciados and Callao metro stops. Mini fridge, microwave, washing machine and drying line were useful. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops in the neighborhood, close to Callao and Sol for shopping. Relatively quiet for central Madrid -- no street noise except Fri and Sat night, and the metal shutters blocked that. We used the double bed in the bedroom and the trundle bed in the living room -- both were comfortable. I would stay here again.

My family of four which includes two young boys stayed here for three nights. The owner provided us great information before arriving and was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived. The apartment was clean, tidy and the wifi worked well. The apartment is well located with shops, restaurants and train station very close. There was also a playground at the end of the street for my boys! We would definitely stay here again.

as with the other reviews you will find here, we found this apartment to be the perfect home base for 5 days in Madrid. the neighborhood itself is trendy and hipster with vintage shops, bars, restaurants, etc right outside the door. the center of madrid is about a 10 minute walk, but there is also a metro stop about 2 blocks away. the apartment is small but cozy, perfect for 2 people. you can easily sleep 4 in the apartment, with one challenge: the small water heater dictates very short showers (i took one average length american shower one night and depleted the entire supply myself). other than that, however, we had no problems at all. Richard was wonderfully accommodating, meeting us upon our arrival and giving us pointers about the neighborhood. as a side note, directly across the street there is a wonderful little restaurant where we dined, and just up the street is some of the best gelato i have ever had.
