TRASTEVERE HISTORICAL BUILDING '500 (WiFi - A/C - hot water continue)

I had a wonderful 6 night stay in this apartment with two of my grown children. The apartment is very spacious and well-maintained but it is outstanding for its location. It is about a 3 minute walk to the Ponte Sisto, the bridge across the Tiber, and once across the bridge you are only minutes from the Pantheon and Area Sacra and then a few more minutes to the Trevi and the Spanish steps. You can also walk to the Colosseum and the Forum and to the Vatican. If you get tired of walking, you can hop on buses or the trolley or the subway. The neighborhood itself is beautiful and vibrant. There are many nearby restaurants, bars, gelateries, bakeries and small shops. The Basilica of Our Lady in Trastavere (Santa Maria in Trastevere) is only three minutes away and is absolutely stunning considering it is "just a neighborhood church"! The owners / managers were courteous in all communications and dealt with one small plumbing problem promptly. The accomodations are comfortable, the kitchen is adequately appointed, and the single bathroom is somewhat cramped but otherwise fine. The shower is excellent.
