We go to St. Simons Island EVERY year and this home is BY FAR the best vacation property we have ever stayed in.
So much to admire from the HUGE bedrooms with original art, to the greatly appointed kitchen and the relaxed great room. You don't need to bring a thing.

As you come through the entrance, there is a huge television for you to enjoy. The picture is crystal clear with many channels available. As a pleasant bonus, just call Bill and Suezan for their code, and Netflix is available to you. The master bedroom has a king sleep number bed. We have two children and loved the separate bedrooms UPSTAIRS. A lovely fenced backyard for the kids. Finish the home with a great picnic table and electric grille on the back porch overlooking the backyard with the children playing. Bill or Suezan are simply a phone call away if there's any issues.

The listing was completely accurate and everything is nice and new...this is not an old house. It was clean and ready to go upon our arrival. Not only would I recommend this to a friend or relative, I'm bringing my mom with us next time as one of the upstairs bedrooms has twin beds for the kids.

A Great Place to Vacation

  • 5 of 5
The Georgia Peach was the perfect place for my family of 4 to spend a week at the beach. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It was very comfortable and the kids had their own rooms. We were close to returants, grocery stores, and a short ride to the ocean. With so many places to bike, we rode out to Fort Frederica which was a great morning outing. We loved our stay on St. Simons Island at the Georgia Peach!

True island gem! Spacious, clean and comfortable!

  • 5 of 5
We usually rent from one of the big rental property agencies on the island. This year we decided to branch out and see what else was available. We found 'Georgia Peach' and couldn't have had a better experience! Bill/owner PROMPTLY replied to my emails and calls while inquiring about the rental...and maintained that prompt level of service throughout our month long stay. He was very professional...and couldn't have been any nicer. We felt like he was a friend we'd known our whole lives.
From the moment we walked through the door, I knew we were going to love our visit there. The vaulted ceilings instantly give it a grand feeling...but the open floor plan keeps it cozy. We also loved that the master bedroom was on the first floor. Our guests had the whole second floor to themselves...each with their own bathroom- HUGE plus!
Another plus, the kitchen has EVERYTHING you'll need for cooking any meal. Plenty of quality pots, knives & REAL frying pans. I like to cook seafood when I'm on the island and many rental properties only have the bare necessities. It was a treat to have such a stocked kitchen.
The house was extra clean...and decorated with lots of fun & interesting art pieces. Our guests repeatedly commented on what a great house we'd found.
The screened in back porch & small back yard was just perfect! We were there over Easter and had our Easter meal and egg hunt outside. All the green foliage made for beautiful pictures.
It's really a gem of a place. Just the drive on the way to the house, with all the canopying mature oak trees at the beginning of the street, made it inviting.
I will mention there are quite a few steps going upstairs. That may be a concern if an elderly guest is planning on staying. If my grandmother had been able to visit, we would have needed to have given her our master suite for her stay. Overall, we loved our month long stay there and can't say enough good things about it!
