Tranquility
We normally stay at Monteagle Inn, but wanted a place with more privacy. This cabin is at the very back of Clifftops on a 5-acre lot. During our first 6-mile drive from the gated entrance to the driveway of Fern Garden, we saw 4 deer along the road. The cabin is spacious, clean, and completely isolated from the rigors of the real world. If you need to unplug and unwind, this is a great place. Although you won't have Internet access or great cell phone coverage, you can at least catch up on your favorite shows with DirecTV satellite coverage. With plenty of comfortable seating, a screened-in back porch, and a fire pit on property, Fern Garden is a great getaway.
