Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)

A Laurel Haven is truly a dream get away for simple R&R. Kick back and relax on the front or back porch of this darling cabin. It is very secluded, has long range mountain views, and a tree house feel. The interior is decorated with rustic and antique furniture. Tall, open cathedral ceilings host a huge hammer beam in the center, and a real maple tree holds up a rustic laurel hand rail and landing.

When you have rested and want to do 'something', there are many activities close by, to partake of. Brevard is a sweet 'Mayberry' like town, with shops, antiques, and wonderful places to eat. The famous Biltmore Castle is only an hour away. We are centrally located to 2 state forests, and the Pisgah National Forest-- all of which offer great hiking, biking, and horseback trails. After a day of activities, come 'home' to a friendly fire inside or outside in our fire pit. Great for family bonding, or romance.

We truly enjoyed our visit at this cabin. What a treat! It was so quaint. Loved the layout of the cabin and the rustic mountain feel. Felt very at home. Also loved the porches and the game room downstairs. it was very clean and well equipped. I cant say enough good things about our stay. Even the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. And it was very well located to Brevard and the good waterfalls at the Dupont Forrest and surrounding area. the owner was very pleasant and kind to work with. She also showed us one of her other cabins that we really liked as well and have already recommended her cabins to our friends. We will definitely be back next year.
