This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is located in a secluded area of Southern Maryland. The home sits in the sand, just steps from the clear, calm, shallow waters of the Chesapeake Bay. The home has a large fully screened front porch that overlooks the beach and the water. Watch your kids play on the quiet, private beach right in front of you as you relax on the porch. This small neighborhood has a vast expanse of sandy beach in both directions. Take a walk either way to explore the beautiful natural setting. Catch your own crabs in the creek, just a short walk from the house. Bring your fishing poles and cast a line and catch fish from the shore. Bring your kayak and glide along the flat morning waters of the bay or venture up the creek into the secluded pond.

The home has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Full kitchen, bath and laundry room will accommodate all your needs. The home has one 65inch TV with satellite stations in living room and new flat screen TV’s with DVD in each bedroom.

There are some local restaurants, parks and marinas. You could also take a short trip into neighboring towns to enjoy other activites...or just sit on the beach and do nothing.

A place of peace and renewal

Our week at this cottage was exactly what we were hoping for...a chance to rest and relax. The screened in porch is heaven on earth! The temperatures were sky high and we couldn't sit outside in the sun but the porch provided a perfect place to watch the birds, boats, and listen to the sea. The cottage itself was extremely clean, comfortable and inviting. We appreciated all the extras the owners provided such as hand soap, papergoods, and detergents. We were glad we brought our Britta water pitcher and if you are someone who likes to cook and bake like I am you will want to throw in a large skillet, cake pan, and griddle. We had a wonderful week and were blessed to stay in this special cottage!

Relaxed beach setting

We spent Memorial Day weekend at this great cottage. The house was very clean and well stocked, but it hardly mattered because we spent nearly the entire time enjoying the screened in porch which sits right on the beach...heaven! The house sits on a quiet stretch of beach with only a handful of other homes. It's a perfect setting for a quiet vacation and I would highly recommend it!

Great place for beach vacation

I stayed at this charming cottage for 4 nights and loved it. The pics don't do the place justice! This is a very unique, relaxing place on a private beach with stunning views. The cottage was clean and well-stocked. Overall, a perfect vacation spot for those with pets and/or kids who want to spend some time literally living on the beach. I hope to be back and would strongly recommend this place.
