Great Apartment and Location; Friendly and Helpful Owners

This apartment is exactly as described, and more. Nadine and Serge are lovely and extremely accommodating. The living space is small, neat and clean, yet with ample space. All requirements for a long or short term stay are met, and the furnishings including appliances, linens, kitchenware etc are great. (I stayed for about 9 weeks on a work-related trip.)
The apartment is oh so close to the PATH train station which runs to Manhattan 24 hours a day. The PATH train also runs via the historic Jersey City downtown which is also nice, with cheaper eating and drinking than Manhattan, but a much better view of "The City" from the waterfront. This area is also within walking distance, depending on your activity level!
The area where the brownstone apartment is located is eclectic and multicultural, with "India City" around the corner. This is an entire street full of Indian restaurants and grocery stores, with other odd little stores between. There is a great Italian pastry shop and an old fashioned butcher nearby. Out of winter hours, a farmers market operates out of Journal Square station, with another at downtown Jersey City, (Grove St station).
Again, the apartment has everything you would need, and is nicely decorated with extra touches like interesting travel coffee table books, and New York and Jersey Shore travel guides. The courtyard garden looked like a nice spot for a morning coffee, but was a bit cold and snowy during my stay. However the birds seemed to like it!
