Photos and Description of the Neßmersiel vacation house rental

Our holiday home with a living space of 80 m² is ideally suitable for 4 persons and a child. You enter our house through a small hall. On your left hand side you find a separate WC for guests, a small room with an iron, iron-board and vacuum cleaner. Straight on you arrive in our large living room with its comfortable seating accommodations, solid pine furniture, a SAT-TV-set, radio and CD-player. Our kitchen is equipped with various electrical utensils such as e.g. microwave and dishwasher. A big door leads to the well furnished sunny terrace. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms - in one of them an additional digital TV-set with two beds in each room, an additional bed for children and a folding cot. The upper floor is completed by a big shower with WC and washing machine.

Neßmersiel : Neßmersiel is a quiet holiday resort, situated opposite of the isles of Baltrum and Norderney. The ferry to Baltrum goes from Neßmersiel. A lot of excursions in the mud flats are offeres from that place. There are several restaurants, two bakers and a supermarket approximately 200 m away from our house. Children can enjoy some playgrounds in the resort. During the summer months there are a lot of activities and attractions for old and young in as big tent at the beach. The 'Doroness-Express', a sightseeing bus, circulating several times a day between the different villages and the beach, is free of charge for guests with a visitors' tax card.

Neßmersiel is predestined for excursions in the mud flats between the mainland and the isles Baltrum and Norderney. Furthermore there are boat-trips to the seal colonies or a railway trip in the historic railway between Norden an Dornum. In Neßmersiel you can hire canoes and paddle up to Norden or down to Emden. There are a lot of cycling tracks along the dykes.

Notes

  • 43 € will be taken for each booking for the final cleaning. The above prices are valid for two persons + child. For each additional person 2 €/day will be taken. The bikes cost 10 €/bike/week. We've got 2 child's safety seats.
    The visitors' tax will be 1,70 €/aduld/day and 1,00 €/ child 6 - 15 years/day.
  • As we ourselves do not live at Neßmersiel, our administrator - Frau Maike Bastians-Knoop - will take care of you and answer all your questions. She'll hand you the keys of the house and will introduce the house to you.
    A folder in the livingroom will inform you about restaurants, excursions and cultural events.
    A supermarket is about 200 m away.

Notes: Our holiday home ist suitable for people with allergic reactions. Therefore pets are not allowed. On our terrace, leading to the south and on the adjacent lawn you will be protected against the sun by two sun-shades or by an awning. You should bring your own towels and bed linen, but you can hire them for a small amount with our administrator.
