San Clemente, the Western White House of former President Nixon, is a charming Spanish style village by the Pacific Ocean. This home located near the 'T' (the cross streets of Del Mar and Camino Real) offers charm and modern sophistication. The location is ideal to walk to restaurants and the beach and local boutiques for shopping. Nearby in Newport Beach is Fashion Island for the shopper or Laguna Beach for the art lover. Dana Point harbor is just a short trek up the coast for fishing and boating excursions and more restaurants and shops. However, San Clemente offers the more laid back and casual environment many seek. One, two or three couples can enjoy this home and friendship in a warm and casual setting.

This is a home for someone that is looking for a place that is above the ordinary with higher end amenities and a sophisticated yet causal life style. A truly relaxing setting where taking a walk is fun and people are friendly. A wide range of dining is available from casual to sea food, Sushi to Pizza and everything in between. Wine and Cheese bars and all styles of Mexican cuisine abound. Boutique shops and the farmer's market on Sunday add to the ambiance. Numerous festivals and art shows are scheduled throughout the year with a large Chowder Cook-off Sea food festival in October.

This property was chosen by its owner for its great location and the fantastic climate that San Clemente enjoys year round. It is within walking distance of drinking, dining, shops and the beach. There is a small grocery store within a short walk and a larger supermarket is about 5 blocks away. Drugstores, hardware store and almost any thing you seek is within walking distance.

Yet, it is close to the hubub of greater Orange County including high end shops, performing arts center and much much more.

What makes this condo unique

This home is brand new completed this year and one of the few new homes in the down town area. It has high end features such as Travertine floors, granite counter tops and gourmet SS kitchen. This home is just about perfect for the discerning couple or couples to enjoy a relaxing and fun filled vacation or just to get away for a weekend.

The home is located just a short drive from John Wayne Airport in Orange County or about 45 miles from Los Angeles airport in LA. The 5 Freeway is the fastest route to San Clemente from the North or South. From the North one can also get to San Clemente by taking US 1 known as Pacific Coast HWY or PCH to the locals but it is a slower drive. To the North are the towns of Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and many more as one travels up the coast. To the South are the towns of Ocean Side, Carlsbad, Lucadia and more.

Lovely Place!

My husband and I stayed at this new condo in San Clemente for 10 days and it was beautiful, all they promised it would be. The location is great, we could walk to the beach, and restaurants and shopping were just a block over. The main living area was sunny with an open floor plan and a pretty view. Best of all was the roof deck for BBQing and watching the sunset over the ocean. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, although next time we might look around to see if we could rent bicycles nearby. We will definitely return to this condo.

There is a bicycle rental on Camino Capistrano that is down by the beach trail and train station and another down near the pier. Hopefully next time you can take advantage of one or the other.
