I name is Deirdre Seim and I manage six lovely properties in Louisville, all located in the city's two Historic Preservation Districts. Each home is beautifully furnished, with luxury bedding and easy access to Louisville's best restaurants and tourist attractions.
Deirdre Seim purchased this house in 1998
Our family stayed here for a week. This is a large, beautiful, comfortable home. The home was well equipped with everything we needed for the week. The location was perfect & close to everything. Owner was very nice & easy to work with. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay in Louisville!
Our family of five travelled to Louisville for my brother's funeral services. The house is inviting, charming and very comfortable. It was just what we were looking for--allowing all of us to be together and have our privacy when needed. We loved the historical aspect of the house and the adventure of imagining living in different era. The house is well equipped --spacious bedrooms, sitting areas, bathrooms (we all had our own!) plenty of towels, etc. The house is centrally located which made our getting around the city very easy. We would definitely stay here again.
This house was perfect for our long weekend away with our friends. We had 7 people stay here comfortably during the NCAA basketball tournament. We had plenty of room to spread out. We were within walking distance to campus and a long walk to 4th Street Live. The home was clean and as described. We would stay there again. The only improvement that we would recommend is to upgrade the television in the family room, it was pretty tiny for 7 seven of us to watch a basketball game.
The house was quite beatiful and very clean. All necessary kitchen equipment was available. We totally enjoyed our stay.
Our family of seven was very comfortable in this house. The kitchen is small, but had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with really good quality cotton sheets (a pet peeve of mine). Overall, the Victorian style was cool, but not overdone.
The location was perfect-- less than two miles to the Expo center where we were working and close to dining, parks and downtown activities. We LOVED the Shakespeare in Central Park festival that was going on while we were here. Central Park is about a block and half walk-- we had cocktails while watching a really funny "Compleat Works of Shakespeare" performance. We also took the Old Louisville Walking tour one afternoon-- it was great to learn so much about the historic houses.
For the price, I don't think we could have gotten a better deal for a four bedroom, four bath place in Louisville.
Home is located with easy walking distance of '4th Street Live', a pedestrian only entertainment district with many clubs, restaurants, shops, etc. Less than two blocks from Central Park, a lovely urban park with multiple play areas, fountain and a live summer shakespeare festival.
