The apartment is on the 1st floor on the Bloemgracht, in the Jordaan quartier, with its own entrance and staircase. The Bloemgracht (“Canal of Flowers”) is one of the most beautiful canals in the city center, right behind the Anna Frank House and Dam Square.
The apartments surface is about 115m2 with three large windows in the front overlooking the canal and a 16th century “patricier” house.
The large living room has a very cozy sitting area (couch bed), flat TV and eating area for 8 people, overlooking the canal. The open kitchen is very complete and it has the newest appliances in the market.
There are two double bedrooms, both with their own complete bathroom.
There is also a terrace in the back, with a garden dining table and chairs.
The whole apartment has just been completely renovated to the highest standards. It´s calm, light, and very private.
Tram 10, 13, 14 and 17 stop nearby. Connexion to Central Station, Schiphol Airport and the rest of the city is fast and cheap.
This property ticks all the boxes in terms of equipment, views and location.
My daughter and I stayed here for a week and loved it. The apartment is on the Bloemgracht, one of the smaller canals in Amsterdam, on the first (not ground) floor. You do have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the apartment, but you will be hard pressed in Amsterdam to find anywhere that doesn't have stairs and these aren't bad at all! The entrance is private, just for this apartment. Once inside, you are rewarded with three huge front windows overlooking the canal. The location was simply wonderful, about 4 minutes walk from the Anne Frank house and very convenient for the incredibly efficient public transport system. Despite being very central, this particular area doesn't feel at all touristy. The apartment is modern, fully renovated, light, bright and airy. It is situated opposite a historic house which was featured in our guidebook! It was great to be able to enjoy eating at the apartment and just looking out the window. There are two bedrooms, both with double beds, and two bathrooms. We felt as if we lived like locals for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Finally, the housekeepers were very helpful, especially with directions to the supermarket which I would not have found so easily on my own! Highly recommended.
Everything was perfect. The appartment is very nice and spacious, with lovely sights over the street and the channel. It is very well located. We went to all places by feet. Ana, the keeper, was very nice. And Ruth, the owner, impressively kind. She solved a problem on the first place that we had reserved and upgraded us to this better house without any extra charge. We will keep a lovely memory of Amsterdam thanks to the house and to Ruth.
We stayed at this apartment for three days in September. The manager was waiting for us upon our arrival and was very helpful with information about the apartment and the neighbourhood. The apartment is spacious and was perfect for two couples travelling together. The bedrooms (king and queen size beds)are far apart to allow privacy and both have nicely appointed adjacent bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with newer appliances. High quality washer and dryer are located in one of the bathrooms. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. There is a view of the canal from the dining area and a terrace in the back of the apartment. As with many other apartments (houses) in Amsterdam, there is a narrow flight of stairs to climb to the apartment located on the second level (no elevator) so try to keep luggage light weight.
The apartment is in a nice neighbourhood, close to Anne Frank's house and the #3 stop on the Hop On/Hop Off bus route that takes you to all the city's touristic landmarks. We strongly recommend this place for a stay in Amsterdam and would stay there again.
We absolutely loved this flat and were sad to leave. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It was very spacious and the master bedroom was located down a hall with lots of privacy. The flat was clean and well equipped. The best feature of the flat was the large front windows looking out onto the canal. We sat on the wide windowsill with wine in the evening enjoying the quiet and friendly boat riders who traveled by and always offered a wave. The location was perfect, short walking distance to the Anne Frank house, numerous shops and restaurants, grocery store and main canals. Our absolute favorite restaurant was a short, less than 10 minute walk away, Japanese Pancake World. It had amazing, unique food and a friendly owner and atmosphere. Kinji, the flat manager, was professional and organized. Answered all of my questions in a timely manner and very helpful. Amsterdam is on our list now of best places to visit and I would stay here again without hesitation.
This was a great apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location (a few blocks from Ann Frank House), big and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. Lots of light with big windows. We especially loved the very nice dining area overlooking the canal. We would rent this place again if we came back.
Very nice, clean, spacy and comfortable place, with easy access to the center of Amsterdam. Couldn't ask for anything more!
we absolutly recommend for stay a weekend or a week and enjoy it with family or friends.
