The house is in a historical building, just restored. Rare frescos on the ceiling are one of the attractions of the loft apartment, composed of 2 open mezzanine bedrooms (one with old bath tab in the room),1 bathroom, living room and studio, a little balcony. It is equipped with dishwashing machine, washer and dryer, satellite tv,music stereo, WiFi and the helliptical machine for exercising. Three minutes from the house you can reach Campo de Fiori, the heart of trendy Rome, to eat, drink or start a nice walk to sight-see all the most famous monuments of the City. Within 20 minutes of fascinating walks you can reach Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, Saint Peter and the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum, the Historical Jewish Ghetto. You can forget the car, and rent a bike.

The house is situated few steps away from Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon. Its strategical position allows to take nice walks (15, 20 minutes maximum) to Saint Peters, the Colosseum, the Jewish historical Ghetto, the Spanish Steps and all the most famous shopping streets (such as Via Condotti, via Frattina, via del Corso). No matter at what time you decide to go out, there will always be something to do, either visit a museum, a church (near by at San Luigi dei Francesi you can admire Caravaggio), have a glass of wine, a pizza or sit outside in a nice restaurant. Get lost in the narrow streets of ancient Rome and magically you will be part of the Eternal Capital.

Spectacular Apartment!

This apartment is a true gem in the heart of Rome! Our family of four (two boys aged 7 & 9) found the apartment to be a relaxing, unique and cozy place to take refuge after active days touring the sites of Rome. The convenience of the apartment's location mixed with the welcoming atmosphere made this more than a "home away" stay but more like a retreat!

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and we used it nearly every evening to cook, after walking a block away to campo d/fiori market for fresh foods. The balcony provided a private nook for us to relax, enjoy some wine and music after our kids went to sleep. The two lofts with separate staircases provided separate rooms and allowed some sleeping in. The only negative was that one bed was much more comfortable than the other, but it was a minor problem. the upstairs claw foot tub is beautiful and inviting! We loved this place!

The architecture of the building is spectacular. The decor is modern, eclectic and very welcoming. The bathroom was fairly modern and the shower had plenty of hot water. Valentina was a terrific hostess, equipping us with local favorite restaurants, sites and even calling a taxi to the airport for us on our farewell (we don't speak Italian). The location of the apartment is phenomenal. You can walk to the major sites from here or hop on buses to rescue young, weary legs. The river is about 1/2 mile away and provides an excellent trail nearby to get in some touring/running to counter the amazing food in Roma! thank you Valentina for creating such a great apartment retreat for visitors to your city!
