I am a conscientious, responsive owner who is so proud to share this truly one of a kind property. I grew up in the Westchester County NY and I currently live in NYC. I love the contrast between the beauty and culture of New England with the proximity and excitement of NYC.
Last year I found this amazing place on Homeaway.com. I immediately booked a brief two day stay but, within the first few moments upon my arrival, I knew that one day I wanted to buy this property. The setting is unbelievable, and the house itself is so perfectly charming. I then booked another two week stay this past July (2012) and I never wanted to leave! I ended up buying this property this September. I just had my family up to see this place for the first time this past weekend and they absolutely fell in love with as did I. I love how private, quiet and secluded the location is, but then it is just minutes away from all the things you need.
The house itself feels like its an old New England rustic cottage but in fact it has all the modern creature comforts that everyone wants. The previous owners had decorated and furnished the home so perfectly to match the setting and the style of the home, so I therefore did not change a thing!
One of my favorite features of this house is waking up in the morning surrounded by views of the lake from every direction - literally. If you look straight, you see water, look left, you see water, look right you see water. It feels like you are actually on a large yacht anchored on shore. It's just spectacular!
