The Cresci Farm is surrounded by nature in the Sassetta, in the hearth of Tuscany countryside of pine woods, oak trees and mediterranean scrub. It's very comfortable, from the well furbished kitchens to the tastefully furnished bedrooms. There is heating for autumn and winter vacations for those who like long relaxing walks and for those who like to go mushroom picking. This private villa is divided into 4 apartments and has been completely restored keeping its traditional Tuscan style. At guests' disposal: On the ground floor there is a large room (160 sqm) with sofas, tables and chairs for 15 and toilet for comunal use. A shaded outside dinning area and wood burning oven is available for everyones' use. There is a bbq and a swimming pool. The swimming pool ( depth from 5x10 1.5 to 2.00 mts open from 1 May to 30 September) has a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and countryside and you can see the medieval town of Sassetta. Each year the swimming pool opens from the 1st. of May until the 30th. of September, weather permitting. If the season is particularly mild then the opening date is brought forward and the closing date is postponed Private parking is available exclusively for the guests use. Wood oven and barbecue, and tables, deckchairs by the pool. The pool is located in a sunny spot with a breath taking view ove the hills. We can also organise cooking classes based on local tuscan recipes. Distances Sassetta with all kind of shops 3.5 km. Thanks to a network of well maintained country roads there are many possibilities for cycling and mountain biking. Uccellina Park (nature reserve) Maremma nature reserve Carapax Center for protection for storks and tortoises. WWF bird sanctuary (5 Km) Mining park at Campiglia Marittima. Swimming is possible in all seasons at the thermal swimming pool in Venturina (15 Km), water temperature 37 degrees. You can also participate at excursions by quad to discover the real and most pittoresque Tuscany. The area offers superb beaches for sunbathing and clear, clean sea for swimming, sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. THE HORSES Horse back expeditions can be organised with a nearby riding stable (1 km.). The Cresci family wholeheartedly welcomes all horse lovers.
